REBEL PENGUIN FEDERATION WAR VS. NACHOS ENDS IN CEASEFIRE – AUGUST 3, 2013
RPF and Nachos’ Early History
By 2013, both Rebel Penguin Federation and the Nachos reached their sixth year of existence as official armies. While Nachos did operate in 2006, the army mainly acted as a rogue army without an official website. During this period, they helped Army of Club Penguin against the Romans in World War II. Their cooperation marked the start of a long and complicated history between the two armies. Not long after, Tom Wolf opened the army’s first site in early 2007. Thus, the Nachos established itself as an organized army and one of the oldest armies.

On the other hand, Commando717, future CP Army Legend, created RPF on May 8, 2007, as a major antagonist of the Underground Mafias Army. Following RPF’s creation, the new army’s first major war had them face off against UMA and the Club Penguin United Nations Space Commission. With the Rebels’ participation, the alliance of RPF, Nachos, and ACP gained the upper hand with a victory on Wool Socks. Ultimately, the war ended with CPUNSC’s closure and the decline of UMA as a major player for the next few years.

Important Wars & Events
Shortly after the war’s end, Commando717 retired from RPF for the first time and handed the torch to the next generation. Additionally, Kg007‘s departure to ACP created new problems for the army. Consequently, the alliance between RPF and ACP fell apart by the time Commando717 returned as leader. Simultaneously, RPF’s sizes became inconsistent as the army struggled to stay in the Top Ten. However, the Rebels found stability through leadership changes by 2013 and were on the rise.

Meanwhile, Nachos influenced major events thanks in part to its rivalry with ACP. Like RPF, the army also dealt with periods of inconsistency. Despite these moments, Nachos experienced an increase in size as they became one of the largest armies. Moreover, it engaged in wars with armies such as ACP, Light Troops, and Dark Warriors. Next, Nachos formed an alliance with Hot Sauce Army that fell apart after a raid on ACP’s Breeze. Finally, the army defeated HSA in a tense war following a series of losses in the beginning. Essentially, Nachos and RPF shared some similarities in how they both grew greatly over time.

In early 2013, the months-long war between the White Alliance and the Black Alliance came to an end for the time being. While Nachos joined the White Alliance, RPF did not participate in the conflict. The army had recently witnessed some changes with the return of Elmikey as leader. His comeback led to new recruiting tactics and unprecedented success for the army. Along with his return, tensions escalated between the RPF and Nachos. These tensions eventually led to the RPF and DCP’s declarations of war on Nachos.
They claimed their main motivation was to expand their empires further and have more influence in the community. Additionally, ACP planned to join them but ultimately decided not to. With their withdrawal, the war between RPF and Nachos proceeded with RPF’s raid on Nachos the next day. Lastly, the first battle commenced on Aurora with RPF’s max of 70 penguins. Essentially, the two armies faced off in battle due to an escalation of tensions.

Most Important Battles & End of War
Firstly, the two armies fought on Tuxedo with a disputed result. Next, Nachos defeated RPF on Fjord and Tundra with a distinct size advantage. Afterward, the armies competed against one another on White House with no clear victor. Nonetheless, Nachos invaded Arctic successfully as RPF did not defend the server. Accordingly, RPF and Nachos faced one another on Alaska, Alpine, Ice Box, White House, Aurora, Snow Fort, Fog, and Blizzard. While both armies achieved victories, no clear frontrunner resulted from these many battles.

After these battles, the two armies officially agreed to a ceasefire. Following a series of back-and-forth allegations, peace between RPF and Nachos seemed unlikely. The aggression increased the chance of a future war if these issues were not resolved. Moving on, the two armies agreed on several terms for a successful ceasefire on August 3, 2013. The terms included the return of all invaded land, server transfers, and a one-month ceasefire. With this agreement, the war ended after over a month of battles. In short, the two armies finally achieved a state of peace for the next month.

Conclusion
Over the years, both RPF and Nachos left their impact on the community through multiple noteworthy conflicts. Moreover, their performance improved over time as they found more stability. Given their rise, the two armies became opposing forces, especially in 2013. As tensions finally boiled over, a very hostile war took place that defined later relations between the two armies. Throughout the rest of CPA, they conflicted with the Pain Wars as one such example. Finally, their conflicts concluded with Nachos’ closure in 2017 after Club Penguin’s shutdown. What do YOU think of the RPF-Nachos war? Are there any other important wars that come to mind? Who do YOU think won the conflict?
