A new army has returned to mark their presence in the community. The Rebel Alliance Commando has rolled in, awaiting our exploration. Let us unravel what they offer to the army community.

ORIGINS
Brownpen4 and Matthew created the Rebel Alliance Commando on January 12, 2017. Being one of the first armies in the Club Penguin Private Server era, they were originally a “secret army” in operation. Hosting a few events, the leaders agreed to end the army’s secrecy, opening up to the rest of the community. Unfortunately, they were met with defacement and were compelled to rebuild from the setback. This led to a fruitful first generation, reaching maxes of 40 to 50 penguins in main events, ending in early 2018.

In their second generation, the Commando was consistent and strong, contending multiple opponents. As their Second generation declined in mid-2018, leader Brownpen4 was unable to keep the army alive. He ultimately merged it into the Templars, where he was granted a HCOM rank. The third generation was a month later, when Brownpen eventually found it impossible to revive the army. This led to the army completely ceasing operations.

REVIVAL
The Commando has now returned to the community, following Brownpen’s six-year stint with the Templars. He brought the army back to life alongside his friend, Mark0600. They hosted their revival event on October 11, where they were able to gather 22 penguins online.

Club Penguin Armies was able to approach leader Brownpen4 with questions for his insight of the army’s reopening.
What inspired you to make a return with the Commandos?
I was never planning to bring the army back but Mark dmed me asking for permission to revive the army and I decided I’d lead one final time.
Do you have any special goals for the army, now that it has returned?
Gonna war a lot more and head for that number 1 spot.
How do you wish to make this generation stand out from the rest?
Gonna cause some mischief you’ll all just have to find out

It seems that the return of the Rebel Alliance Commando has sent waves of recognition in the community. As their fourth generation is up and running, they seem to have high aspirations.
