Nether Knights of Club Penguin Lays Its Army To Rest

After Project: Conquest started, it appears the Nether Knights have decided to shut down from the community. We decided to explore the reasoning for their closure and their plans for the future.

The Nether Knights joined the community on September 12 under the leadership of xDemon, Billy Bawb, and Zez. At their opening event, they pulled together 10 troops, and things looked bright. The army opened up as a meme army and Templars proxy. However, they quickly formed many alliances with armies such as the Church of Aurora and Scars of Club Penguin. The Nether Knights have been active in the community since their registration, placing up to 15th in the Top Ten and even hosting several events.

Following the retirements of Zez and Billy Bawb on October 8, xDemon announced the closure of the Nether Knights shortly after. The announcement was very abrupt as the army had held an event days prior. Furthermore, it came soon after the start of the Blood Bowl tournament. xDemon hinted that the closure was temporary and that the army would return soon, leaving many wondering what was next for the army after such a short lifespan.

Following the shutdown, Club Penguin Armies decided to contact Billy Bawb, leader of Nether Knights, for an interview and his input on the shutdown.

What led to Nether Knights’ closure?

All us leader had something to work on on irl or the army we are in and had no time for anything.

Will we expect a Nether Knights return?

The plan for the nkcp will most lilky have nkcp come back

Do you believe Nether Knights will make great improvements upon their return?

Yes nkcp will have better sizes and just be better in general

Is there anything else you’d like to say?

Not really just scars is a W person!!!

It seems that the Nether Knights have high hopes for the future. Will we see them grow in the next generation? Will they continue to be a meme or transform themselves into something serious? Let us know in the comments!
