Media Members of the Month: September 2024

Just as September came to an end and we now step into the spookiness of October, it is time to announce the newest Media Members of the Month. Contradicting the infamous September Drop trend, this past month was filled with community activities, while it also highlighted the work of several individuals within the organization.

With the introduction of Media Members of the MonthClub Penguin Armies aims to recognize the most hardworking individuals across its departments. As September ended, we now reflect on what the month has brought to the community. We saw new wars taking place, a new tournament being announced, a festive Summer Gala, new armies entering the scene, and some bidding farewell; and, of course, a fair share of controversy.

Each department has worked hard to deliver quality content and entertainment to and for the army community. Undeniably, September showed itself as an exciting month for some of us. In that sense, we cannot forget those who gave their heart and soul to work hard in their respective positions and help the organization thrive. Therefore, we kindly asked each department head to appoint their Member of the Month, and, of course, to write some words of appreciation to them.

It is time to meet the Media Members of September 2024!

reporting team

SNORK

Some of the posts Snork wrote in September

On August 31, Snork officially joined the team as a Reporter-in-Training. Snork was our top reporter in September, as he wrote 10 posts, also having an average score of 9,6. His constant progress within the organization showcases his determination and willpower to reach even higher heights. Snork attained a promotion to Senior Reporter only 1 month after joining the department. This feat alone made him eligible to be our Reporter of the Month!

Edu14463, Editor-in-Chief: I am accquainted with Snork since 2018, so I myself never had doubts about his capabilities. Ever since joining the team, Snork showed his unparalleled commitment by ensuring his posts would be of high quality and delivered on time. I had no doubts upon hiring him that he would be a talented writer in our team. I am absolutely pleased to have him on board!

Community committee

tulip

A fun community game hosted by Tulip

Tulip was already nominated as one of our Media Members of the Month in August. Now, she is once more featured in this edition – but representing the Community Committee. Those who know Tulip are aware of her passion to work in whatever she puts her mind to. In the committee, she passionately delivered fun activities, games, and polls, and assisted the department heads with big projects. Her award is more than deserved!

Frickle & Zooy, Community Committee Heads: Tulip is an extremely enthusiastic member of the team who is always positive and consistently helps improve the team! She is always giving everyone a helping hand, constantly surrounding the CC environment with positivity. We are so glad to have her on this team, as she’s always motivated to contribute and uplift those around her.

ZENISHIRA

Zenishira participating in one of September’s TTs

How much is 1+1? Correct, two! I know I asked this very same question last time, but now there is a different context. Two is the number of times Zenishira was awarded Media Member of the Month representing the Top Ten Committee. Once again, Zenishira’s work in the committee has been consistent with taking up assignments and providing spot-on calculations on time. Will we see Zenishira nominated next month again? The third time is a charm, they say.

Link3000, Top Ten Committee Head:  Just like the previous nomination mentioned, he has been a very important membeer of the team and his work ethic is incredible. Every week without miss he will help out, and is willing to go the extra mile if we need him to. He has shown passiong and drive for the team and he is someone we can always rely on.

YOUTUBE DEPARTMENT

lulu

Lulu joined the YouTube Team in March but only returned to the team on August 21. Since then, they have worked hard to help the department release videos quickly. They primarily work as an editor, and, most recently, worked on a very exciting CPA Sings edit! We are eager to watch more content from them!

Flypin1, Head YouTuber: Lulu is a great asset to the YouTube team. She’s always on top of recording and keeping up with events. Her active is appreciated and she’s well deserving of Media Member of the Month!

GRAPHIC DESIGNERS

BEASTO

A thumbnail designed by BEASTO

This one comes to nobody’s surprise, as BEASTO continues to impress fellow designers, his department head, and also the community with his talent in designing. BEASTO assisted the administration by providing server icons and banners for the Summer Gala, and, now, Project Conquest: Blood Bowl. We wish to keep seeing more of his artistic skills!

MasterDS, Head of Branding: Beasto has continued to steadily and passionately make beautiful thumbnails and server logos for the graphics department since his return. He has always been a reliable source of strength when a deluge of requests would come in, and is always willing to go above and beyond in his work.

We congratulate all of you who have worked hard for the well-being of our organization. Of course, we could not forget the many other workers we have across our departments who also cooperated in their own way. October may be YOUR chance to be awarded Media Member of the Month! Who do you think will earn the award?
