Not only is an army uniform important because it helps individuals express their pride in the army they belong to, but having a background that showcases this pride is equally valuable. When it comes to having a background on CPBattleground representing ones army, they may feel a deeper connection to their army and a sense of belonging. Backgrounds also show where one’s loyalty lies, as they proudly display and express their dedication through it. Now, let’s dive into my personal top five favorite army backgrounds and explore what makes each of them stand out to me.
#5 – Scars of Club Penguin

A newly created army is surprisingly one of the top S/M armies. Scars Of Club Penguin took its place in the community the moment it opened, marking new alliances and even engaging in warfare against the Spartans and Special Weapons And Tactics, despite their loss against SWAT they showed amazing performance and work in both wars. This army is growing time after time in hopes of it reaching its full potential.
Now for some statements on its background, I have chosen it as my top 5 as it is truly unique with the bright orange color and those bunny ears. Boy, that bow tie brings the sense of you having a job interview, having zero money, and just ending up wearing one that your mom bought you when you were seven. This background doesn’t remind me of a penguin fighting for its army, but one that was hired to cook and clean, except he ended up being a clown for the homeowner’s kids.
#4 – Army of Club Penguin

The Army Of Club Penguin is not to be talked about. However, ACP is the most known army to exist. The Clovers are the first army to shine within Club Penguin. This one army has achieved several goals including winning wars and tourneys.
ACP has earned its position in the top 5 because of the clashes between its meanings. I mean like any other combat helmet from the ancient days, featuring a horse tail like design that faces no reason to be there. But what is going on with the jacket? It is not a school student, it is a soldier. Additionally, the shotgun feels out of place, as it doesn’t fit well with the 1000 BC helmet, especially considering shotguns weren’t even invented during that time. The boots and backpack, are a bit questionable to me. However, I always categorized ACP’s background as a true work of art.
#3 – Spartans of Club Penguin

Spartans of CP is another newly created army, however, most recently leader the army has undergone leadership changes as Mafuka stepped down. Aside from leadership changes, SPCP is an army that has had an impact on the S/M community and continues to hold events and make appearances on the Top Ten.
The reason I chose this is to be the third position is because everything is just pure art from this point onwards. Look at that Harry Potter looking wand, it is just amazing. Especially with that background which brings a sense of a comforting vibe. However, I am not a fan of the logo and I believe it can be redesigned to have this magic wand a part of it. This is one of my favorites that I chosen to be on the top three.
#2 – Special Weapons And Tactics
SWAT’s Halloween background
SWAT is one of the most recognized S/M armies. Though it faced a downfall, it also saw great innovations. Under FunXTime’s leadership, new systems and event ideas were introduced. SWAT’s tactics and systems improved significantly during this time. I believe SWAT is now much stronger than before in strategy and organization being a part of its leadership.
This is a newly designed halloween-themed background by FunXTime. Regarding its beauty, it brings a nice vibe with the dark sky and its view behind those fences. Look at that SWAT penguin far back there, wondering back in forth perhaps, or rather questioning its Club Penguin life. This piece of work is truly beautiful, especially as it’s exclusive for Halloween. I personally chose it because I love Halloween and everything decorated for it.
#1 – Help Force
HF’s background
Help Force is the army that had my attention ever since I came to the community and it is one of the most peaceful armies out there. HF has achieved a lot, whether a war or a tourney. HF’s uniform also amazes me as I love blue and white, the hat fits amazingly well with the fashion, and those glasses truly give a weird positive vibe.
I have chosen HF’s background to be the most phenomenal one to be. Look at those frames, each one representing a piece of history that was achieved within the army. That shelf is the most unique thing I have seen in any army background perhaps, you should also fill the second one. The penguin is giving extra life to the background with its colorful clothing and fashion. Lastly, the logo of home, a symbol representing all of its troops in which they all respect.
An army background is not just a picture, it is a piece of work that represents ones home army and history. Do you agree with this opinion? Do you feel that a background is a needed piece for every army?
