Upon opening, the Church of Aurora declared the formation of multiple alliances. In this post, we will be taking a look at these newfound alliances.
On September 2, the Church of Aurora officially opened its doors. Since opening, the army has been a topic of conversation within the community. The Church, while not taking itself too seriously, recently made a post declaring war on Farm Merge Valley, embracing the fun side of the community.
The day after its opening, the Church announced the Scars of Club Penguin as its allies. The Scars confirmed this later the same day. Both of these are meme armies, meaning they center around being fun and unserious. This, and other factors like their similar sizes, likely led to their alliance.
After nearly two weeks, the two armies created a brother alliance. Scars announced this on September 13, with the Church making it official on September 14. The two armies have now been brother allies for nearly a week and they show no signs of splitting apart anytime soon. They continue to strengthen their alliance with each other and embrace the fun side of the community.
On September 5, the Church announced an alliance with the Winged Hussars. Formed 5 years ago and named after some of the fiercest cavalrymen in Poland’s history, the Hussars reopened last year and has now accepted the Church’s word as their own. Shinzo, Winged Hussars Leader, announced the alliance in both armies’ Discord servers. In addition to their role in the Hussars, they have the role of Cardinal within the Church.
Upon the Church’s opening, Shinzo was regarded as one of the army’s leaders. This undoubtedly led to the peaceful yet friendly relations between the two armies.
Aiming to find even more alliances, the Church allied with the People’s Imperial Confederation on September 7. Arguably, this is a major alliance for the army as the Confederation were recently a major army. Although the Confederation is now a small/medium army again, it still has great size. The army’s leaders also have a great amount of experience. Undoubtedly, this relationship will be beneficial for the Church.
On September 9, Shinzo stated that the Church had “allegedly” allied with Spartans of Club Penguin. However, despite the confusing announcement, no official announcement was made by the Spartans. This led many, including the Church’s Leaders, to question what was happening. Less than a week later, History announced that the Church was no longer allied with the army. While the events that took place between the two are unknown, there was clearly confusion regarding the initial alliance.
It is uncertain whether these two armies will reunite and become allies once again in the near future. However, with the Spartans recently participating in two wars, they will most likely want to avoid any further drama.
On September 15, the Church announced its most recent alliance with the Nether Knights of Club Penguin. The Knights opened shortly before the alliance was made. Creativity shines through the army but their spirit makes them an even better ally, especially due to their roots in the Templars of Club Penguin. The Knights will undoubtedly be a great asset to the Church, aiding them in spreading their holy word.
With so many alliances in so little time, the Church of Aurora is certainly doing well. The addition of armies to support the Church means they have the resources they need to spread their word and influence. But what do you think? Will these alliances last? Or will they break off, leaving a mark on the holy name of Aurora?
