The best way to get someone’s attention is by pinging them on a server unless their notifications are silenced. However, if their notifications are silenced, it becomes an even better excuse to mass ping them continually. Within the Club Penguin Armies server, there are various reasons for which pings are often sent. Let’s explore a few of these reasons.

QOTD and Polls

One reason the CPA server might ping is because there’s a poll or question of the day. The Community Committee members work hard every day to keep us engaged with various topics. If we miss the topic or question of the day, they’ll remind us by pinging again the next day, so no need to worry!

Scars Telling Community to Log on

Another reason for a ping in the CPA server may be due to Scars of CP leader Scars, telling members to log on for his army. Although these individuals are often part of other armies or retired vets, Scars discovered that the best way to recruit members is by inviting them to join his event through the CPA community chat. Think smart, not hard!

invasion-scheduling

One of the most anxiety-inducing reasons you’d get pinged in CPA is in the invasion-scheduling channel. This is primarily directed towards Army Leaders, but even as an outsider, it’s definitely enjoyable content to watch.

Top Ten

The best part about Sundays isn’t just that it’s the weekend, but also waking up to the Top Ten ping. The thrill of seeing where your army is placed and getting to flaunt it is incomparable. Unless your army gets ranked unusually low, it’s usually best to play it cool and say things like, ‘The Top Ten isn’t even all that, bro! My army can beat yours in any war or tournament!’

New Post

Lastly, one of the best reasons to get pinged in a CPA server is for a new post. Typically, when a new post is released, you’ll see the iconic sticker of a dog wearing a hat and glasses with the caption ‘New Post’ in the main chat. We’d like to credit our Managing Editor, Shallissa, for creating such a memorable sticker.

Overall, these are a few of the top reasons why you might get pinged in a CPA server. Although if some of you do have your notifications silenced for the server, you may be definitely missing out on some great content! What do you think are the top reasons for getting pinged in CPA server? What is your favorite reason for getting pinged in the server?
