Welcome to Behind the Scenes, the column where we delve into the day-to-day life of a community member. In this edition, we will explore the life of Tulip, a reporter at Club Penguin Armies and a staff member of the Rebel Penguin Federation.

Tulip joined the Rebel Penguin Federation on February 24th, 2024. Excited to be part of a loving community, she worked hard to rise through the ranks. Despite being new to armies, Tulip tried her best to help the Rebels win March Madness IX. Unfortunately, the Rebels came just short of winning, losing to the Water Vikings in the finals.

In recognition of her efforts, Tulip was awarded the 291st Troop of the Week just three weeks after she joined. Her dedication did not stop there, and she continued to support her army. On May 6th, 2024, Tulip was promoted to Brigadier General, the first staff rank. Her quick promotions continued and she achieved yet another promotion to Major General, where she is now.

Despite being very new to the army community, Tulip joined the Club Penguin Armies reporting team on July 9th, 2024. She quickly proved that her ability to rise through the ranks swiftly was not unique to RPF, being promoted from reporter in training to reporter in less than two weeks. Soon after, she proved herself again by writing six posts in less than a month. Outside of Club Penguin Armies, Tulip works hard at school and loves to play with her cats, Vanilla and Spot.

Although she only joined less than six months ago, she has made many friends in the army community. Club Penguin Armies interviewed Tulip to find out more about who she is behind the scenes.
What are your hobbies outside of CPA?
My hobbies outside of CPA are mostly writing, going shopping, and hanging out with my cats!!
What has been your favourite moment of this year?
My favorite moment this year was getting promoted to staff in my current army. 🙂
How did you decide upon the name “Tulip”?
I decided on the name Tulip by just thinking of a flower lol 😭😭 I used to go by something else but I decided to switch to Tulip and that’s where I am today!
How would you describe your time in the army community so far?
My time in the army community so far has been short but absolutely amazing. I have met tons of amazing people and I’ve done fun things and I’ve felt more confident in my abilities.
What do you want to accomplish by the end of the year?
I’d like to hopefully receive a higher reporter role, achieve HCOM status or like literally just pass my final tests.. 😭😭 HAHA
Tulip is certainly a hard worker both in and out of the army community. She has aspirations in many places and we at Club Penguin Armies wish her the best of luck in all of them. Which promotion do you think she will achieve first? Will she pass her finals? Do you like her cat?
