With only a few days into July, a new army arrives within the community, creating more competition among the small-medium armies. Let us delve in to learn more about the Spartans of Club Penguin and the goals they have planned for the future.

The Spartans of Club Penguin was founded on May 25, 2024, by Ethan, Adam, and Skye Larsen. The army was originally known as the Polar Operations Security Team formed on March 8. The Spartan leaders were hoping to register POST with Club Penguin Armies. However, due to not reaching the required number of troops, they were unable to register.
After naming the army POST, the leaders decided they did not like the name. Ethan, Adam, and Skye Larsen then decided to rebrand themselves as the Spartans of Club Penguin. However, they soon discovered that before they could officially do so, they needed to contact the original Spartans of Club Penguin founders, MaximeT9, Lord Pain, and Army Legends Mustapha10x and Roberto. Luckily, the leaders reached out to Mustapha and Lord Pain, asking for permission to use the name of his former army. Both of them graciously permitted the leaders to do so.
On July 1, the Spartans held their first opening event with Ethan, Adam, and Skye Larsen leading. The army finally achieved a maximum of 10, a height they hadn’t reached when they originally opened as POST. Spartans of CP uniform consists of the navy blue colored penguin, noble horse, Roman helmet, Odin’s armor, and a thunder blade.

Club Penguin Armies decided to contact one of the Spartans’ leaders, Adam, to learn more about Spartans and the army’s upcoming goals.
Can you provide more insight into what motivated your decision to re-open the army?
We created Spartans of CP because we wanted to build a community where players could come together to not only compete but also experience to play as Spartans in CPABattleground. It’s about fostering teamwork, companionship, and creating a space where everyone can enjoy the game as a Spartan since a lot of people like Spartans, even we do!
What do you have planned for Spartans, and how do you intend to execute these plans?
We basically have a lot of plans for Spartans of CP and when it comes to a lot we mean it. After we have enough recruits we will start events, we are even working on a Project named Phoenix for Spartans of CP. So basically we’ll announce more about Project Phoenix in a month.
Why did you rename yourselves to Spartans? What made you all choose this name for the army?
We changed our army name from Polar Operations Security Team to Spartans of CP because POST was giving feelings like a Security Team and not an Army, and Spartans were basically so strong which was giving the actual vibe of an army instead of any security team. Spartans were the bravest people I’ve ever heard of including King Leonidas. In the Battle of Thermopylae, 300 Spartans fought against 100,000-150,000 Persians but the Spartans lost since Persians sent reinforcements.
Tell us what is your favorite item from your uniform, and why?
Our favourite item in Spartan’s uniform is the Roman Helmet, I have no idea why they didn’t name it Spartans Helmet since Spartan’s and Roman’s helmet looks similar but the one I’m game looks more like a Spartan Helmet. It’s our favourite item because it represents the Spartans more than anything else in the uniform.
The Spartans of Club Penguin have entered the community with a clear vision and ambitious goals for the future. Spartans of CP leader, Adam, clearly states that the army is hoping to achieve a community that can bring Spartan player’s together to not just compete against one another, but also unite together as Spartans on the Club Penguin battlegrounds. Clearly, the Spartans have a lot of great plans ahead of them to help add success to their army’s history books. What do you think of the Spartans’ future goals? What challenges do you anticipate the Spartans facing as they grow and establish themselves in the community?
