The most festive and bustling season of the year faded away. During December, the community witnessed a massive war taking place, as well as an astounding tournament coming to an end. Amidst this eventful month, the activity of a reporter stood out, with their effort not going unnoticed.

Thuanthaijo, or simply Jo, currently serves as one of the leaders of the Help Force. He first encountered the army community on January 14th, 2022. Throughout his entire army career, HF has been his only army so far.
However, it was only in late April 2023 that Jo began his career in the Club Penguin Armies [CPA] reporting team. His very first post was published in May, covering the re-classification of the Dark Vikings to the S/M Army status. More recently, Jo wrote two articles that warranted excellent scores – even a 10/10! He did a very good job of gathering the community’s predictions for the Christmas Chaos XIII Semi-Finals. Moreover, his efforts put into writing the first battle report of the Christmas Crusade on the Elite Guardians were undoubtedly recognized.
An Unexpected Turnabout
Without a doubt, his commendable work and excellent scores warranted a well-deserved award such as becoming Reporter of the Month of December. We, at CPA, are indeed delighted to have him on our team, working tirelessly to assist us in our mission to deliver high-quality content to our community.
Why did you want to become a Reporter?
I wanted to become reporter because Scorp held me at gunpoint. Also, I like writing and had been writing posts for HF for a while so becoming a reporter in CPA was the obvious step forward. I thought that reporting would be fun and it seems that I was correct.
What would you say has been your favorite part of the role?
That would probably be researching the topics because it’s always interesting to learn more about current events in the community as well as about the history of some armies. It’s also interesting to go through the websites of other armies or look through their announcement channel to collect evidence as these things are often structured differently to how HF structures them.

What are some future goals you have?
In the future, I aim to rise through the ranks and encourage more people in HF to apply for roles in CPA. I want HF to be a more active part of the community in 2024, so my goal is to raise in the ranks as high as possible as well as encourage more people to apply.
