Midnight Retires from Mercenaries

KLONDIKE, CP Army Headquarters– Recently, Midnight has taken action to retire from the Mercenaries. But what was the reason?

Midnight is a veteran in Club Penguin Armies, with experience from armies like the Penguin Defence Force and Midnight Troops. He opened the Mercenaries on January 8th, 2022, with a max of 8. They slowly grew from then while creating their standards. The army’s only combat was a battle with Silver Empire in AUSIA Arena. They additionally fought Special Weapons and Tactics, Fire Warriors, and Silver Empire in the CPAHQ New Year Bonanza. After a short while on CP Rewritten, they followed the Night Warriors to Yukon to avoid lag and experience smoother events. The army quickly grew to sizes of 25 on Yukon, while the multiplier barely shook the leaders.

On approximately March 14th, Midnight retired from the Mercenaries. Midnight stated no announcement or reason for the retirement; the only evidence is the role change. However, it is safe to assume that he was busy in real life and retired due to a lack of time. Bull Hour, the other Mercenaries leader, told CP Army Headquarters:

He seems busy and couldn’t really focus on MCP so we talked about this and he retired.

Midnight’s new roles in Mercenaries

CP Army Headquarters reached out to Midnight and Bull for a statement, but there was no response from Midnight as of this post. Bull’s response follows:

Mercenaries were not moving along solely due to Midnight’s efforts. There is work from of many people involved in the army. However, the work he put in is appreciated, and will continue to be respected by Mercenaries of Club Penguin. – Bull Hour, Mercenaries Leader

We still do not have a reason from Midnight himself. It seems, though, that the retirement was in the army’s best interest. However, on his reasoning, CP Army Headquarters will keep this post up to date if there is any update. Concurrently, CP Army Headquarters wishes the veteran the best of luck in his retirement.
