MAMMOTH, Army of Club Penguin Capital – With the recent retirement of FatChicken88, the Army of Club Penguin sees the arrival of a new leader, Jesus1_4. What can we expect from him? What kind of an impact will this promotion have on the future of the army?
On the 5th of December, FatChicken88 officially retired from the position of leader that he held at the Army of Club Penguin. In his retirement post, FatChicken wrote a message for Jesus, mentioning his countless efforts and the hard work he put in to keep the army stable and growing, and his loyalty and dedication towards the Green Family. Before concluding his post, FatChicken appointed Jesus as the next leader of the army, as he believes that Jesus is ready to take over the position and give his all to the army like he has done several times in the past.
The Army of Club Penguin was the first-ever army of Club Penguin and was formed by Oagalthorp, on the 29th of September, 2006. After the army’s initial shutdown, Mchappy and Chainpro revived the army on the 29th of September, 2019, since then the army has achieved the 1st position in the official weekly Top Ten Armies numerous times and has even triumphed against Rebel Penguin Federation at the Holiday Championships Tournament in early January 2020. They hosted their very own tournament – Aces of Ausia on the 28th of November, and have their own community-running newspaper known as the Shamrock Bulletin which was introduced by then-Leader CSY, on the 8th of July, 2020. Apart from this, the army has also taken part in Legends Cup X in June 2020, the Fright or Fight tournament in November 2020, and March Madness, this year. In the past, the army has engaged in wars with armies like the Templars (Clover Crusade), the People’s Imperial Confederation (War of Crimson Night), the Special Weapons and Tactics (The Flash Nemesis War), and the Doritos (The War of Estranged Brothers). They won Project: Conquest, which took place this year during the month of June. At the end of August, this year the army witnessed a mass retirement, where a lot of exemplary and beloved leaders and higher command members stepped down from their positions, giving birth to a new generation of the army at the beginning of September, which was being led by FatChicken. On the 29th of September, 2021 the army completed 15 years of existence. A separate page on their website has been dedicated to the army’s history, titled, “ACP Saga” which gives the history of the army from September, 2019 to the present day.
Jesus1_4 first joined the army community on the 8th of May, 2021, by enlisting in the Army of Club Penguin. He was recruited by Kailey. Like any other recruit or new member, he started his journey in the army as a Private and quickly climbed through the ranks to get the position of General (third-in-command) in the army. In less than 2 months, he was able to enter the staff team, by attaining the rank of Brigadier General. One can get to know more about him, through this article, which features an interview with him, about how he found out about the army, his experience as a troop, his favorite memories associated with the army, and what made him want to participate and be active in the army.
CPAHQ had the opportunity to have a talk with Jesus1_4, and know more about the promotion, as well as his future plans for the army.

Given that you have been in the army for quite some time – what are some of the learning experiences you have had which you would want to incorporate within the army as a Leader?
Some of the things I would like to incorporate are building a great recruiting culture and also making everyone around me better at everything they do like recruiting, leading, and helping them with what they need to be successful in the army.
If you could name one thing you look forward to as a leader, what would that be?
Some of the things I look forward to are ACP getting better and sizes going up.
Where do you see the army going in about a year’s time from now?
I see the army doing great in a year, being a major army, and winning more tournaments.
Before we conclude, is there anything else you would like to say, or any advice you would like to give to the readers in general?
Have fun!
From the above conversation, it seems that Jesus is confident and ready to take the army to greater heights. We wish him, and the Army of Club Penguin, best of luck in all their future endeavors.
