MAMMOTH, Special Weapons and Tactics Capital – After leading for a year, Mare has decided to step down from leading Special Weapons and Tactics. What was the reasoning for her retirement and how will this affect the army?
Mare started her way into armies in April 2020, joining as part of the Special Weapons and Tactics. She’d mainly serve the previously mentioned army, escalating from Staff to Third in Command, until gaining leadership in August 2020. Alongside others, she would help this army become one of the most powerful major armies.
Mare is also known for founding a prosperous army called One Direction Army, leading alongside Aubz, until retiring earlier this year. Mare was also nominated for Small/Medium Army Legend last year. She led the Special Weapons and Tactics in diverse wars, such as the Eagre Foray War and the Weapons and Toppings Wars. Currently, Mare is leading an upcoming army known as Dua Inn Lipa Fighters alongside notable past army leaders such as Orange, Crazzy, and kaliee.
On August 12th, Mare officially announced her departure from the leadership right after her retirement event. In her retirement post, Mare shared several of the anecdotes and memories during her time in the previously mentioned. Mare concluded the post by thanking everyone in her journey and expressed her feelings about her experience in the army.
To find more about her retirement from leadership, the Club Penguin Army Network contacted Mare for an interview.
Why did you decide to leave your position in SWAT?
I wanted to spend some time just relaxing and chilling before I head back to school! I’ll still help out SWAT of course and be there.
How do you think this army will manage without you?
The army will still do great! I have a lot of confidence with the current leaders and know that SWAT will only be rising up.
What are your future plans in this community?
I don’t really know what my plans are in this community yet, however, I do want to stick around and help SWAT.
How did it feel to lead a SWAT event with fellow leaders, probably one last time?
I thought it would be sad, but honestly it was more of bittersweet. They aren’t just fellow leaders, they became one of my closest friends. It was amazing to share those last few moments together and I will always cherish them and thank them for everything they do to help SWAT.
Anything else you would like to add before ending this interview?
