KLONDIKE, CP Army Headquarters– Welcome back, to another edition of Army in Focus, where we put an army under the microscope and analyze their success throughout the previous week. I have finally managed to get my workstation back from the mean Column Manager Scorp, and this week we will be looking into the Templars of Club Penguin, more commonly referred to as the Templars.
The Templars were created on April 4th, 2018 by Army Legend Xing. Despite being one of the more controversial armies of the CPPS era, it is undoubtedly a household name in the community, ranking in the top half of the Top Ten consistently. The army has seen multiple closures and reopenings as well as multiple prominent leaders, such as Elmikey and Epic101. The current generation of the Templars started on 23rd of July, 2019 and has since continued running, without facing any closures.
The Templars recently held a battle week, with all events in that week being battles only. They started on Tuesday, with a Practice Battle against the Army of Club Penguin. The following day, they held two more battles. The first one was against the Help Force during European times, and the next one was against the Water Vikings during US times. All three of these battles were fought against major armies, and there were no official judges for any of these. The second to last battle of the week was against the Golden Troops, a well-known Small/Medium army in the community.
However, the week was more eventful than just normal practice battles, the Templars also declared war against the newly found Magma Clan led by Lukey and Darklink. The war, dubbed as the ‘6th Errantry War’ was declared earlier on in the week, it can be found in a post HERE. The final battle of the week was a war battle against the Magma Clan, which was judged by the CPAHQ, in which the Templars emerged successful with a 3-0 win.
To find out more about the battle week, we reached out to Templars Emperor Xing for a statement. Here’s what he had to say:
It was great
Loved it
Prepared us for the war
We are ready
1 vs ALL
–
The Templars clearly had a fun-filled week, with multiple fun battles taking place throughout the week, even war battles and it no doubt benefitted them. In the latest CP Army Headquarters Top Ten, which can be viewed HERE, the Templars went up two spots as compared to last week’s Top Ten, going from 8th place to 6th. Who will be featured next week? What will their success be about?
