Resurgence of Nachosclover Rivalry

The NachosArmy of Club Penguin war saw an episodic resurgence of hostilities between the two long-standing armies in the Club Penguin community. The confrontation erupted on April 5, 2015, after a succession of leadership disagreements and previous diplomatic problems. It therefore resumed a rivalry that had previously been interrupted by a treaty signed on January 3, 2015, which, as a result, ended the last battle in a draw and subsequently restored all servers to their rightful owners. Furthermore, the pact did not limit future declarations of war, thus allowing either side to restart hostilities at any point, potentially reigniting tensions between the armies.

BACKGROUND

The treaty signed on January 3, 2015, resolved the prior issue between the Nachos and the ACP by returning servers to their respective owners. In the months that followed, both forces engaged in friendly raids, preserving a limited cooperation relationship. In early April, the Nachos declared war, claiming ongoing disagreements over ACP leadership. Nachos leader Greendai released an announcement on the army’s official website stating that ACP leader Ahmed refused to install Bam117 as leader within 24 hours. The Nachos saw Ahmed as a disruptive character who hampered the ACP’s defensive capabilities and viewed the battle as an attempt to assert their pride and role in the community.

Prior to the proclamation, ACP handed over control of all servers to the Doritos of CP (DCP), an army that was associated with the Nachos; as a result, ACP was left with just the Wool Socks server. Consequently, this decision also introduced uncertainty regarding ACP’s readiness for conflict, while simultaneously reflecting a strategic attempt to protect their assets. Furthermore, the transfer highlighted internal disagreements within ACP, which in turn affected their overall preparation and coordination.

Ahmed’s action sparked internal criticism and raised questions about the ACP’s preparation for combat. At the time, ACP was also at war with the Light Troops. ACP demonstrated its operational capacity in a recent event against the Crabs of CP, mobilizing twelve members and securing victory. The ACP’s formal answer to the Nachos proclamation, issued by  ACP 3rd-in command Vexillarius (currently known as Sidie9, the Small/Medium Army Legend ), was merely of the phrase “Bring it on,“.

statements and aftermath

Interviews with representatives from both armies offered more context. In addition, Vexillarius further noted that the Nachos had utilized the fight to reclaim significance; moreover, he simultaneously voiced dissatisfaction with several of Ahmed’s leadership actions. Nevertheless, he also confirmed his commitment to ACP, emphasizing that despite these concerns, he would continue to support the army. Consequently, his statements reflected both criticism and loyalty, while at the same time acknowledging the broader context of the conflict. Edd64, the Nachos commander, remarked that the combat “should be fun” and that the Nachos will profit from the involvement.

April 11 2015, Battle of Breeze

During the war, the Nachos launched repeated invasions against ACP-controlled servers, briefly seizing control of many sites. The Nachos infiltrated Breeze, Klondike, Mammoth, Arctic, Slippers, Snowbound, Sleet, Fog, Snow Fort, Shiver, Cozy, White House, and Fjord. They later returned Breeze to ACP, handed Klondike, Arctic, Slippers, Snowbound, and Cozy to the Army Rebellion (AR), restored Mammoth to the Under Ground Mafias Army (UMA), and re-invaded Fjord from ACP to keep it under Nacho control. Other servers, including Fog, Snow Fort, Shiver, and White House, remained under Nacho control.

Although the April 2015 war did not end with a formal treaty like the January 3 armistice, its operational phase was completed by mid-April. The conflict ended on April 18, 2015 as recorded in the Nachos’ official history page. During the last phases of the conflict, the Nachos launched repeated invasions while ACP encountered logistical issues such as internal leadership disagreements and server transfers to friendly armies. As a result, community records and historical evaluations sometimes state that the Nachos retained an operational edge, even though neither side declared a formal win.

REDEMPTION FORCE REOPENING

Reacon, Konrad, Troppy, and Brad revived the Redemption Force, an army known for regularly closing and reopening, on April 5, 2016. The leaders had past expertise, and the army wanted to restore its influence in the army community. The previous generation of the Redemption Force had over 20 members and was consistently ranked in the weekly Top Ten, reaching as high as second. Following Max438210’s site defacement, Reacon and Konrad amalgamated the Redemption Force into the Night Warriors, which grew to over 40 members and ranked first in the Top Ten among leaders such as Verum, Toysoldier, and Drake.

Rebirth

Following an internal schism among the Night Warriors, Reacon resurrected the Redemption Force. In an interview, he revealed that he quit the Night Warriors because he felt unfit to other commanders and disagreed on personnel choices, while also reacting to community requests to reopen the army. He indicated that the leadership team consisted of Troppy, Chuck, Zero, and Wenny, with Konrad set to return from vacation. Reacon took on the position of Supreme Chancellor rather than active commander, with the intention of sustaining the army for at least a month.

The reopening also included some early diplomatic activities, such as an alliance with Waterkid in response to a probable clash with the Night Warriors. However, once the Light Troops force was disbanded, prospects for cooperating with them became questionable. At the time of release, the army’s future engagements, leadership stability, average sizes, and prospective involvement in wars were all undetermined, reflecting the Redemption Force’s early stages.

The Nachos-ACP conflict and the Redemption Force’s reopening demonstrated the need of leadership and organization in the community. Despite the fact that the Nachos no longer exist, their impact lives on, while ACP has survived and is a prominent challenger. Even without obvious winners, these events have left an indelible effect on the history of Club Penguin Armies. Did you enjoy reading the post?
