In a recent development, the Fire Vikings and the Templars have announced a new alliance with one another. Let us look deeper into what led to this alliance.

Both the Templars and the Fire Vikings have had an eventful few months. The Templars, following the reinduction of leader Sidie9, won the Small/Medium portion of the Christmas Chaos XV tournament becoming a major army. Beginning in 2026, TCP allied with the Dark Warriors and declared a raid campaign on the Void Troops. Things took a turn in February when former TCP Empress Dawnables defaced their server, leading them to relocate. In the recent March Madness XI tournament, the Templars placed third, defeating the Water Vikings in a tense battle. Recently, the army has additionally risen to high ranks in the Top Ten, placing in the top 3 in recent weeks.

Meanwhile, the Fire Vikings, who recently reopened in January 2026, have also been quite active in the community. Since reopening, the army has declared a golden age, following the merger of both the Phoenix and Tsunami’s into the army. Additionally, the army has seen various new staff signings and has seen the induction of new leaders, Siri and Cyber, signaling a new start for the army.

On March 24, following a series of announcements from FV creator YellowTyper, an alliance between the Templars and the Vikings was officially announced, with both armies seemingly incredibly excited by this new relationship between them. Only time will tell what this alliance means for the armies, but we will surely be watching eagerly to see what is to come.

Club Penguin Armies reached out to TCP leader Borapenguins and FV leader Cyber for a response, but Cyber did not answer in time.
What was your main reason for allying?
Obviously we all know about the alliance with Fire Vikings from 2024, as well as the bitter war with them that following year. Since then, we’ve been meaning to bury the hatchet with them and once again become good allies with one another. Zez and I are also personally great friends with Klombe.
How do you think this will affect your army?
For an army that’s historically rode solo, barring a few blockbuster alliances, it would be a good idea to finally branch out more with the community. The league is currently structured to favor those who are diplomatically active, so we’re taking this step.
Do you believe this will lead to further alliances with other armies?
Absolutely. Like I said earlier, fortune favors those who expand their outreach in the community.
What can we expect to see following this?
The Top Ten Committee specifically can expect to see a lot more event pics with borapenguins in a Fire Vikings uniform that’s for sure

Go out there and make some friends. Don’t isolate yourself for years and then wonder why your summer pool party invitations keep getting declined
