The Lunar Vikings of Club Penguin was created by TinyGuy on December 5, 2025. They maxed 1 at their opening event, which was enough to be register at the time as the 2 person requirement wasn’t implemented yet. TinyGuy later shut down the Lunar Vikings on December 9, 2025 due to inactivity and difficulties with leading the army solo. This marked the end of the first generation, which lasted only a few days. The army temporarily moved into the Seraphic Imperium of Club Penguin while awaiting a revival.

Just over a week after closing, TinyGuy announced that the second generation would be starting soon. On February 23, TinyGuy attempted to revive the army, rebranding the army with a new uniform consisting of a purple penguin with a black cape. The name of the army was also changed to the Lunar Troops of Club Penguin. However, this revival attempt failed as the army failed to reach the requirement of 2 penguins.
Reopening
A month passed following the failed revival before a new reopening event was silently hosted on March 10. This time, 2 people attended the event, meeting the requirements to register an army. This marked the beginning of the second generation, although no official announcement was made. Despite their previous revival attempt failing, the Lunar Vikings decided to keep their rebranded uniform and name.

Soon after the reopening, on March 14, TinyGuy announced an alliance with the Crimson Sovereign. To find out more about what the Lunar Troops plan to do with this alliance and reopening, Club Penguin Armies interviewed TinyGuy.
