In addition to the new and improved server map, a community tournament was introduced. Similar to Project: Conquest, there are 4 different teams based on the primary colours. All teams are now going head-to-head in a race to see who can achieve the most land. With all of these invasions, it has sparked the question: Who will win this tournament?

The Start of Operation: WinterStorm
On January 13, Club Penguin Armies introduced a new server map to the community. Alongside this release, the organisation announced a new tournament inspired by Project: Conquest. However, unlike previous tournaments, this tournament emphasised community involvement, rather than army-based competition. As a part of this new format, all active users were encouraged to join one of four colour teams.
The start of the map
As a result of the community-focused tournament, each team were given the ability to vote in three leaders. Sign-ups were open to everyone for the leadership position, and many participants registered across all four teams. After voting ended, the organisers announced the top three candidates from each team as leaders.

Importantly, this tournament format is something almost foreign to many participants. The community-based structure, it shows a new concept for a significant portion of the community. At the same time as this unfamiliar setup, many have adapted to their responsibilities quickly.
Even in the early stages, the community saw different strategies amongst all teams. Showing how all can quickly adjust to the new system. On the opening day, there were multiple invasions, even with Black using a ship to invade land, immediately showing the competitive spirit of all teams.

The community has seen different tactics from all armies. Yet, it feels hard to predict at an early stage. Club Penguin Armies has reached out to five members of the community to get their input.

Glo, Green Team: Green team is going to win because GREEN ON TOP!!! We have a great set of leaders and our team is working great together so far.
Frosty, Blue Team: BLUE BABY AND THATS THE BOTTOM LINE
Yols, Red Team: well, its close between every army, i do think (even tho i’m in red team) that green team has the best chance of winning.
andimhome, Black Team: I guess I’m biased because I know the leaders, but I would put my bets on the black team! I think they will have the determination to pull through!
Justin, Spectator: I think green or blue team has this in the bag, especially due to those two teams having the most experienced leaders.
Currently, many people believe that the Green Team is going to win the tournament. However, others believe Blue Team has the chance to win. Ultimately, only time will tell, as the community will learn who emerges victorious at the end of the week. Do you like this tournament? Who do you think will win?
