On January 18, the army community witnessed yet another war against the Special Weapons and Tactics. This time, it’s a new army making the call, amid a leadership change. So, what is the reason behind another war against SWAT now?

On Sunday, the Teutons of Club Penguin declared war against the Special Weapons and Tactics. This marks their first move as a revived army, while also witnessing the induction of a new leader, Villa. Moreover, the war does not take place on a map, and the first battle takes place on January 20. Notably, this diplomatic development takes place only an hour into their opening.

Furthermore, in the article from the Teutons website, the army credits the Water Vikings for preparing the war terms. In addition, in the official Teutons declaration, the army failed to mention SWAT’s other leader, ggogle, but the war has been allowed to proceed. The Teutons are also new to the army community, making it difficult to compare them with SWAT. It is worth noting that the Teutons have army community veterans in their leadership, while SWAT has a longer age and more pre-training.

Over the last year, SWAT has toppled numerous times, including the December 2024 exodus, Discord server defacement, and regular leadership changes. On the other hand, the Teutons hold leaders who have often switched their armies. As a result, the army community sees more fresh melodrama in the small-medium army community.

Villa Joins Teutons Leadership

An important leadership update in the Teutons’ circle has accompanied the atmosphere of war. A few minutes before the war kicked off, Villa was inducted into the army’s leadership. Going back in time, Villa first set foot in the army community in 2020 in the Underground Mafias Army. Later, he found himself in the Doritos of Club Penguin and the Water Vikings. For some time, Villa also led the Trojans of Club Penguin, and much later, the Scars of Club Penguin. When the Scars merged into the People’s Imperial Confederation, he was welcomed as a Second-in-Command. On March 12, 2025, he joined the PIC leadership. Following the PIC shutdown in April, he returned in September of the same year.

Club Penguin Armies reached out to Teutons leader Scars to understand more about their newfound involvement in war.

Why did you choose to war with SWAT, of all other armies?

Scars: We chose to war SWAT just in the heat of the moment. It wasn’t meant to be taken personally or anything but really just to test ourselves and see where we stand as of now.

Using warfare, what are you looking forward to?

Scars: I’m looking forward to testing both my leading capabilities and how Teutons will do in such an early war.

WilliamW2010: Really? Teutons!? You only got a minor advantage

Do you feel that this war can impact SWAT’s performance adversely or positively?

WilliamW2010: Positively or not at all. You’re a young army with a god awful amount of hubris

In summary, it appears that this war may end up being similar to the other recent wars that the small-medium army community has witnessed.
