Upon regular multilog checks on CPAB, the Administration stumbled upon a new multilogging case. This time, it affected SWAT and included two of its highest ranked members.

What Happened?
The Search
The recent sudden growth of the Special Weapons and Tactics raised some alarms. The army went from having around 10 points in the Top Tens to reaching around 30, like in the latest Top Ten, in a span of a few weeks. While this does not necessarily mean that they achieved that through multilogging, as they have had leadership changes recently, which can explain the sudden rise.
Regardless, the Club Penguin Armies administration wanted to be certain, so we included an extensive multilogging search on SWAT alongside the routine multilogging checks. It turned out that there was indeed multilogging going on, but on a small scale, so most of the SWAT growth is real. There were 2 accounts sharing the same IPs. At this point, it should be noted that we never have access to the players’ IPs, but with the help of a bot, we can track if there are matching IPs.
The Multilogging
The accounts that were multilogged were the “FWAPO2” and the “ggoglee” accounts. The first one belongs to Fwapo, a recently promoted SWAT Leader in Training, with the latter one belonging to Ggogle, a SWAT Third in Command. We have identified at least 3 events where multilogging occurred, which are presented below.
- SWAT event on December 24, both accounts were present on the same IP
- SWAT event on December 27, both accounts were present on the same IP
- Shadow Legionaries event on December 28, both accounts were present on the same IP.
Given that Fwapo was active during the SWAT events, taking pictures from it as well, from his own account, it is believed that he was the one multilogging in all cases. Regardless, both were aware of it.
SWAT Leadership Response
On December 28, we contacted the SWAT leadership to let them know of the situation and find out more information. They informed us that both of the members involved were veterans who had just come back to the army. Additionally, they revealed that the multiloggers had talked about multilogging in the past, but the leadership denied their idea and discouraged it. They offered to talk to them again, to ensure that there will be no more multilogging taking place.
What action is Club Penguin Armies Taking?
Given that the members involved were high ranked in their army, we decided to enforce the following penalties on SWAT:
- A (2+2) deduction from the past Top Ten, given there were 2 accounts at the same time on 2 events.
- A *0.8 multiplier will be applied to the following Top Ten.
When it comes to the Shadow Legionaries, we have decided the following:
- A 1 deduction from their max size in the event that was multilogged.
As the multiloggers are enlisted in the SWAT and just attended an SL event as non-enlisted, it would make no sense to have a different approach for SL.
As always, Club Penguin Armies does not condone multilogging and will punish it severely where found.
Hopefully, this was the final Spotlight for the year. A year with several spotlights, this being the third, and statements. Hopefully, 2026 will have fewer of them. What do you think of the situation? Will this incident affect SWAT’s future?
