HO HO HO! Santa is here and is announcing that tomorrow is Christmas Day. This is the twenty-fourth edition of the special Christmas column, which includes historical information and daily challenges faced by the community.

INTRODUCTION
Like the previous ones, this issue is divided into 4 sections, with the first one being the introduction. As mentioned in the Christmas 2025 @ CPA, the posts of this column will include the “This Day in History” of the day, as well as the daily challenge to the community. There will also be a fun fact in the end of the post.
This day in history – December 24
Ice Warriors Declares War on SWAT
On December 24, 2014, Ice Warriors officially declared war on the Special Weapons and Tactics army shortly after SWAT’s reopening. They accused them of troop stealing and having a negative influence on the Club Penguin army community. The Ice Warriors’ leadership stated their intention to either force SWAT to surrender or capture their empire. They cited past conflicts in which the Ice Warriors had dominated, including a summer war that ended with a favorable result for them. SWAT responded with their own recruitment focused message, painting themselves as the protectors of Club Penguin.
Toxic Storm Departs From SWAT Leadership
On 24 December 2022, SWAT leader Toxic Storm announced his retirement from the leadership of Special Weapons and Tactics, stepping down after serving with the army since August of that year. Toxic Storm had been active in the army community since the original Club Penguin era. He led or held roles in several notable armies, including Shadow Troops, Coup Crusaders, and Secret Service. In the interview, he explained that personal differences with SWAT’s evolving philosophy and a desire to move on from army leadership were key reasons for his departure, and he expressed hopes for a more peaceful future for the army while wishing his friends well.
Daily Challenge – December 24
Today’s Challenge: Christmas Scavenger Hunt
You will have to find 5 images/emojis placed in the website/ Club Penguin Armies Discord server. All of them are in posts/messages that were published/sent throughout December. Hints:
- You will find it in the Discord server, in a message that included a post which guided you to submit a form. It includes a puffle.(emoji)
- In a place where armies let the Top Ten Committee know what events they hosted. Posted by a small medium army that did not participate in the Christmas Chaos XV. Includes a cup. (image in the Discord server)
- You react in there based on what you believe, or you respond with your opinion in the main chat. It includes a cookie.(emoji)
- In the middle of the road. (image)
- Where it all began. (image)
You have 7 days to complete it. Make sure to message screenshots showing that you found the emojis/images to one of the following people: Edu14463, Jojo Teri, Kazoo, Tulip, Yeeter, Zooy. Completing any of the 24 Challenges will grant you the basic participation role. If you complete all 7 of this week’s challenges, though, you will receive the Challenge Master role. The highest tier reward will be given to the people who complete all 24 challenges. They will be allowed to add a preferred emoji to the server, as long as it adheres to the server rules.
Fun Fact
The grand finale of the Christmas Chaos VI tournament took place on December 24th and ended just seven minutes later, after rule violations led to Doritos being declared the winners.
