Throughout this year, many notable things happened within the community. In this post, we will recapitulate the events from the winter season, specifically from the months of January and February.

CPA releases Legends Inductions 2024
Club Penguin Armies released the highly awaited 2024 Legends Inductions results on January 4, 2025. It is one of the most prestigious traditions, recognizing individuals that have made an impact on the community. Determining 2024’s legends was a long process. It began with an open nomination process where the community could submit those who they believed were worthy. After that, the top three individuals by number of votes were selected as the Community Nominee Winners. Following that, board discussions and votes determined the legends. After all of that, Link3000 was inducted as the Major Army Legend, and Shinzo as the Small/Medium Army Legend.

HF hosts Charity Fundraiser
On January 4, 2025, Help Force hosted a fundraiser event, where the amount of money donated depended on the max size. It was initially planned to be a dollar for every penguin in the max, however, thanks to donors, it was raised to 5 dollars for each penguin. HF managed to max 71 at the event, therefore, they donated 355 dollars in total.

Doritos declare war on ACP
On January 11, 2025, the Doritos of Club Penguin launched a surprise attack on the Army of Club Penguin, declaring an off-map war against them. The armies have had a long history of tensions prior to the declaration. The Doritos scheduled a few invasions, however, ACP no-showed all of them, as they made it clear they will not recognize an off-map war. After three no-show invasions, the war was over due to the war terms stating that three no-shows in a row equals a forfeit of the war. However, there was no force treaty as it was an off-map war.

CPA announces Map Changes
On January 18, Club Penguin Armies released a post detailing changes in the map. The first thing added was territory tiers, where the invading army must max a certain size in order to claim a land. There were four tiers, each requiring a different max achieved, from 5/10 max required for the lowest tier all the way to 40 max required for the highest tier. Additionally, wilderness zones were added, which were pieces of land that could only be invaded or defended without the use of allies or visitors.

PIC wins war against DPCP
From mid- to late January, the People’s Imperial Confederation and the Dark Pirates of Club Penguin were in a conflict with each other. It lasted approximately two weeks, with there being several battles, however, most of them were no-shows. The war unofficially ended on January 27 after an agreement between PIC and DPCP. On January 29, Scars made an announcement that addressed lack of activity in the war as well as proclaimed PIC to be the victors of the war.

Diwix inducted as HF leader
On February 2, Diwix was inducted as the newest leader of Help Force. He was first recruited to HF in 2019, becoming more involved next year. Diwix went on to found the Bose DK Warriors in 2021, an army that would go on to become a formidable force within the Small/Medium armies. However, Diwix prioritized HF. Even though he retired from there in 2022, he came back as Higher Command in 2024 and helped the Helpers win Legends Cup XIV against the Rebel Penguin Federation. He became a Leader-in-Training in December 2024, and got inducted into a leadership position just two months later.

DCP celebrates 15th anniversary
The Doritos of Club Penguin have been created in 2010 by Wwebestfan. Throughout their history, they have had their ups and downs. However, with their revival in November 2024, they came back strong, reaching the finals of Christmas Chaos XIV. They celebrated their 15th anniversary event on February 8, 2025, where they maxed a size of 102. There were also several leader inductions after the anniversary.

Due to the aforementioned tensions between the armies, DCP declared war on ACP again on February 14, 2025. This came after a series of war campaigns the Doritos fought. As the Candy Crusher Brawl took place the weekend after the declaration, the first invasions happened on February 17. The Doritos were victorious at first, setting a war score of 2-0-0. However, the Doritos broke war terms, and therefore, the Clovers imposed a force treaty.

CPA Judges celebrate third anniversary
The Club Penguin Armies Judges were officially created on February 23, 2022. After CPA’s creation in July, CPAJ started partnering with them. Following that, army leaders voted Spotty, Lightningmcj, AustinFraud, Popcorny and Yvng as the Head Judges. Ever since then, CPAJ has judged hundreds of battles, including wars and tournaments. On February 23, 2025, they have celebrated their third anniversary, with Head Judge Spotty releasing a special announcement.

CPA presents March Madness X
On February 25, 2025, Club Penguin Armies announced the tenth edition of the tournament March Madness X. A total of 14 armies were invited to participate. The tournament was planned to start with the Qualifiers on March 8 and end with the Grand Finals on March 30. However, later the Grand Finals as well as the third place match were postponed by a week.
