The Qualifier round of the Christmas tournament, Christmas Chaos XV, will happen this week. In this post, we will take a look at how the community thinks the Qualifiers will play out.

Christmas Chaos is an annual tournament, which plays out every year in December. This year, it’s the 15th edition of this tournament with a total of 11 armies participating. The Qualifiers round of Christmas Chaos XV will happen on December 6 and December 7. Six armies are battling in the qualifiers, with the winners advancing to the Quarterfinals.

Club Penguin Armies has reached out to several community members for their thoughts on how the Qualifiers will play out.
SHADOW LEGIONNAIRES VS. TEMPLARS
Both the Shadow Legionnaires and the Templars are currently classified as a Small/Medium army. SL was opened in May of this year, and therefore, they are a relatively new army. On the other hand, the Templars are a much older army, founded in April 2018 and going through several highs and lows during their time. Both armies are maxing around the same average, making this battle an interesting one to witness.

PEOPLE’S IMPERIAL CONFEDERATION VS. ROMANS
The People’s Imperial Confederation and the Romans are both armies that went through multiple generations. However, recently, the two armies stood on opposite sides in the Second Divine Reckoning War. As of currently, both armies are in the S/M classification. Nonetheless, this is the first time we have witnessed the Romans participating in a major tournament since their reopening. Compared to PIC’s vast experience in these important battles, it seems the Confederates are the favorites. However, only time will tell which army shall emerge as the winner.

DARK WARRIORS VS. SPECIAL WEAPONS AND TACTICS
Once again, both armies are of the S/M army classification. Both of them have been around for quite a while. DW was founded in 2007, with SWAT founded two years later, in 2009. The Warriors and Agents have histories of participating in major tournaments – with DW winning some in their OG era, and, after reviving this year, winning two S/M tournaments in a row. It seems the Dark Warriors are determined to win yet another one. Will SWAT show resistance?

The Christmas Chaos XV qualifiers are the first round of this year’s Christmas tournament. This round is exclusively Small/Medium, containing interesting battles to watch, some with very unclear results for now. What are your predictions? Which army will advance to the Quarter Finals?
