ANGO’S BEGINNINGS
Ango first joined the Water Vikings at the beginning of March 2025. Since then, he has been an active member of the army. With his activity, he rose through the ranks quickly, obtaining SiT in April and becoming a staff member in May. Because of this, in WV’s Blue Summer Awards, he gained the Biggest Rise award among other awards. During his time in WV, he has also obtained countless Chatter of the Week awards as well as Staff of the Week awards.

Eventually, he worked his way up to becoming a member of WV’s Higher Command in October 2025. He is currently a well-known Third-In-Command within WV, with many considering him to be a very friendly and kind person.

Ango’s promotion to Higher Command
Club Penguin Armies has reached out to Ango for an exclusive interview regarding his rise to WV’s HCOM.
Was Water Vikings your first army, or were you in any other armies before joining WV?
I’ve been a Water Viking since my day one in CPA!
Can you describe your rise through the WV ranks?
Well, most people in WV has described my rise as very fast, so much so that I’ve gotten the “Biggest Rise” award in the Blue Summer Awards! I became SiT basically a month after I joined, and from there, it just went up.
What’s inspired you to become a Higher Command member?
Definitely just the community side of things. I knew NOTHING about CPA and stuff, so at first it was really just benefitting the community, trying my best to make it better, make it good and enjoyable for everyone. After a time, I’ve grown attached to it, and now, it’s not just for the community aspect, but also for its prosperity.
What is the best part of being a member of WV’s HCOM?
Hmmmm The team is great honestly, I love working with each and every one of them. And, while it does mean you take a lot more responsibilities, I carry them with pride and really like working for the army as an HCOM.
Finally, do you have anything else you would like to say, such as any advice for anyone wanting to become an HCOM?
Hmmmm… Well, if you want to be an HCOM, be strong and push for it, rise above all expectations, and especially, take your place, take initiative, and don’t wait for opportunities to be made for yourself. Make them with your work, your perseverance, and prove that you are the good pick for the team. There’s so many ways to do it! Interacting with the community, providing work in terms of recruiting and welcoming… You need to prove that you are dedicated, and that you’d stop at nothing to make your army prosper.
