Shadow Legionnaires Announce Second Generation

Following a brief period of inactivity, the Shadow Legionnaires have made their triumphant return. Today, we will evaluate their reasons for returning and reflect on their army.

Emerging from the Shadows

The Shadow Legionnaires were founded by Thunder222 on May 3, 2025, and since then have become a mainstay in the Small/Medium army scene. A former member of armies such as the Water Vikings, Dark Vikings, and Elite Guardians, Thunder was no stranger to conflict. Frequently engaging in conflicts and tournaments, the Legionnaires proved themselves to be a prominent force.

On September 4, SL boosted its ranks by inducting Lemon as its newest leader. Lemon assisted the army by growing their ranks, and helped them become one of the strongest new armies. The Legionnaires were also involved in the war between The White Order and the Rebel Penguin Federation, accounting for a large part of TWO’s size.

The rise and fall

On September 30, Thunder announced that the Legion would be going on a brief hiatus due to recent controversy. Thunder went on to explain that he ‘barely [had] any time’, and was unable to properly command an army to the level he thought proper. This saw yet another army fall victim to the September Drop.

Fortunately, less than two weeks later, SL made their return to the community. Following a rebuild of their staff team, Thunder felt they were ready to resume operations. This is a further indicator that, despite the community’s supposed dwindling size, we are seeing more armies than ever make their return.

Thunder announces SL’s return

In an attempt to uncover more about their return, Club Penguin Armies reached out to Thunder for an interview.

Following your short hiatus, what prompted you to bring back the Legionnaires?

Activity in our staff and recruitment department, so for a fresher start to SL

Following your return, what can we expect to see from SL in the coming weeks?

A solid staff team that is coordinated with each other and has time to benefit the Legion, and looking towards the sizes.

We want new recruits to not join for no reason and trying out bests to make them interested, thats with many issues with armies now which is a constant recruiting cycle and SL is prefenting people to join and do nothing else. After all its our job to make them interested instead of them being there.

Thank you very much. Your last generation was quite successful, and you engaged in several conflicts. Will we see this trend continue going forward?

Depending of what is it about and the Legions state and moral. After all. Most of the success was brought down between Me, Lemon and the Main staff team doing everything

Evidently, the return of SL marks a positive shift in the community and highlights their dedication to creating a positive environment in armies. But what do you think? What can we expect from the Legionnaires going forward? Could we see more conflict on the horizon?

I want to make some notes that i want to bring for anyone is reading. I was pretty burnt out by how many stuff i had to do at once and had to take a step back. the idea of me appointing Harry and mlzko to lead for AUSIA and EU was because he had a massive influx of people joining in which did come to our event
