With us all already halfway through September, we now take a moment to look back at some of the moments that made August remarkable. Thus, let us explore the top five moments of August 2025.

With each passing month comes many memorable moments, but deciding which ones deserve to be considered as the “top moments” is no easy task. The Club Penguin Armies staff team hosts a monthly vote to determine the “Top Five Moments” of the month. With a blazing Summer season in CPA, August marked a well-deserved conclusion for it. Featuring many activities such as the conclusion of Legends Cup XV and the Summer Olympics, the community also witnessed the S/M tournament Summer Blitz and enjoyed The Fortune Gala. Without further ado, let us reveal the top five moments for August.
5. Void Troops Win War Against Templars

Just some days after their declaration, the war between the Void Troops and the Templars came to an end. On August 2, VT surprisingly declared war on TCP, severing their alliance pact. Labeled as The War of Divine Reckoning, it lasted a little more than one week, with the final battle being the invasion of Jerusalem. The capital invasion was at first ruled a Templar victory. However, following a review submitted by the Void Troops, Club Penguin Army Judges Head Judges uncovered errors in the original verdict. The outcome was overturned, granting Void Troops control of the final server and officially ending the war. The next day, VT imposed a force treaty on the Templars. The final war score was 15-0-1 [W-T-L] in favor of the Void Troops.

4. CPA Administration Introduces Mapping the Map Summit

On August 18th, Club Penguin Armies announced a new project by the Administration, launching the ‘Mapping the Map‘ Summit. This gathering includes many voices all across the community, sharing views and changes that concern the future of our community. The first session was hosted on August 31th, with a second session on September 14th. The Mapping the Map Summit has proven to be a positive and inclusive project, as various rules and principles regarding the future map have been carefully discussed and voted upon as the community pleases. These votes will be a huge talking point and decider during the second phase for the implementation of these rules by the Army League Board.
3. Club Penguin Armies Hosts End-of-Summer Awards 2025

On August 30, Club Penguin Armies hosted the annual Summer Gala, named The Fortune Gala. It kept the casino theme that was on for July and August in CPA. The ceremony was hosted in CPA: Battleground, inside the custom Gala room. There, the Administration and the Community Committee presented the awards and the winners, with a commentary happening at the same time in the CPA server main voice chat. There were some unexpected awards winners. Most notably, Bestpenguin won the best Major Leader award, having 1 vote more than Cobra who got second. Ghostt won the best S/M Leader award, while Aurora managed to win a never seen before number of awards, 6 on total.

2. Club Penguin Armies Conducts 2025 Census

On August 4, Club Penguin Armies announced a community-wide Army Census, aiming to collect data that will help gain insight into the current state and direction of the community. The reason for this was a large increase in activity and many new armies emerging. This was the second Army Census of CPA Org and the fourth one ever hosted by a Club Penguin army organisation. It was presented in the form of a Google Form, consisting of two sections: mandatory questions and optional questions. Individuals had until August 24 to complete the census, with the data collected being published anonymously.
1. Rebel Penguin Federation Takes Legends Cup XV Trophy Home

The Rebel Penguin Federation won Legends Cup XV, against the Aliens of Club Penguin in an exciting grand final. The battle began in three rooms: Inside Mines, Iceberg and Casa Fiesta. RPF took advantage of better formations, tactics and teamwork. Even when they were facing a size disadvantage in the second room, RPF held its own to tie, while their dominant positioning in the first room and last room allowed them to finish with a score of 2-1-0. This was RPF’s first Legends Cup triumph since 2021 and shows the strength, organization and preparation of leadership, in return taking the most prestigious trophy back home once again.

We are already in September, witnessing a major conflict going on. The month of September Drop is ironically filled with warfare. As August saw many changes in individual armies and CPA, we now look at how these moments will affect armies in the future. What was your favourite moment from August, and why?
