The Legends Cup is one of the most legendary and dignified tournaments in the history of Club Penguin Armies, with its first edition held in 2010. Oagalthorp, often regarded as the father of Club Penguin Armies and the creator of the Army of Club Penguin, originally theorized the Legends Cup, and Club Penguin Army Central later customarily established it. Over the years, different armies have collectively upheld this tradition by claiming the tournament title each time. This year, more than 13 armies are participating, with six of them in the Jackpot qualifiers: the Help Force, SWAT, Doritos, Shadow Legionnaires, Elite Guardians, and Templars.

Club Penguin Armies contacted several community members for their observations on which armies will compete against each other and their predictions on who will win in each battle.

Help Force vs. Special weapons and tactics

Overview

The Help Force and SWAT will face off on July 20 at 2 PM EST. This battle might be seen as a breeze for Help Force with no threat, but it will be a test for the two armies especially the Helpers to set their foot in this year’s Legends Cup again.

We know from last year that the Help Force were the formidable underdogs that went on to win the tournament, however the army took a toll after many changes of leadership such as Beasto and Rooboo’s resignations. The same can be said for SWAT, however that does not imply they will lay down and lose and will definitely make Help Force’s mission harder.

Yoni773, Water Vikings: I think that’s a easy 3-0 sweep for HF. no need to explain why really

CenaViper, Army of Club Penguin: Based on recent maxes in events and hf getting 7th in Top Ten, I say HF wins 3-0

Ryebread, Water Vikings Leader: HF gonna win this one. They’re just better all around. 3-0-0

Ghostt, Scarlet Republic Leader: HF 3-0s SWAT 100% no debate

Kyra, People’s Imperial Confedration: HF – Would be stronger with tactics, and would have bigger attendance.

Yeeter, Army of Club Penguin: HF. SWAT won’t stand a chance cuz of size diff

Doritos VS. shadow Legionnaires

Overview

This will be the closest battle within the Jackpot Conference, surprisingly. The Shadow Legionnaires are a current notable Small/Medium army that has shown resiliency and competitiveness in numbers and in wars like the recent Void Troops war. Their recent growth has been impressive, and this year’s Legends Cup will be a test of their strength.

The Doritos on the other hand saw a massive decline in a very quick amount of time, due to the swift changes of power left the army in an inconsistent state after many resignations and costing wars against armies like the Army of Club Penguin and Void Troops. However, this does not mean the Doritos are planning to forfeit this year’s Legends Cup as they have shown great interest in competing and going far in the tournament. They will most definitely face a lot of challenges ahead, and this qualifier’s battle will test their capabilities in the long term.

The Legends Cup will be a massive decider on the future of Doritos, as there have been speculations about a shutdown imminant. Although this could change depending on their performance this tournament.

Yoni773, Water Vikings: It will be pretty close but I would think DCP win 2-1-0 , SL is still a pretty new army whereas dcp has numerous veterans who will attend for them

CenaViper, Army of Club Penguin: This battle might be a close one but I say DCP wins 2-1

Ryebread, Water Vikings Leader: While I could see DCP showing up with the masses, I pray that SL wins this based on skill and not size. 1-2-0

Ghostt, Scarlet Republic Leader: I am not too sure about how DCP and SL are looking lately so I am guessing that DCP 2-1-0s SL

Kyra, People’s Imperial Confederation: DCP – Would have a greater attendance, and also would have more alive troops, meaning more troops follow tactics, and formations.

Yeeter, Army of Club Penguin: 2-1 DCP win Idk… Both armies are mid in this battle but DCP has the size advantage

Elite guardians VS. templars

Overview

This battle between the Guardians and Templars will be costly, as there’s a lot on the line. The two armies are ones that have been in the top of the game in their respective times, with the Elite Guardians hitting max peaks in 2024, while Templars have seen a massive surge in numbers in the recent months.

The Templars have had a pretty good recent record being able to win the Around The World Cup II tournament as well as recent wars. The Elite Guardians have also seen recent developments in their high command and their will to give it their all this tournament.

Yoni773, Water Vikings: 3-0 sweep for TCP. TCP have been consistenly getting 30+ whereas egcp have just reopened and they haven’t been doing that great compared to previous gens

CenaViper, Army of Club Penguin: Both armies are pretty strong but i think TCP will win 3-0

Ryebread, Water Vikings Leader: Both armies are doing pretty well so this should be a fun battle to watch. TCP has been on the rise so my prediction is TCP wins 2-1-0

Ghostt, Scarlet Republic Leader: I am going to predict the EGCP 2-1-0 on TCP. I trust that our allies are gonna cook

Kyra, People’s Imperial Confederation: TCP – Would be fast with tactics, and be quick with formations.

Yeeter, Army of Club Penguin: 3-0 TCP sweep. I saw TCP’s performance nowadays and holy pencils their sizes and tacs are similar to us (ACP), but i do need to say that TCP needs to improve more tho :/

This year’s Legends Cup sees many new faces and favorites to win, setting up for an exciting and historical Legends Cup edition. With the predictions out of the way, all that is left is for the action starting today. Many armies have a chance to write history in their name, and so we anticipate yet another magnificent Legends Cup for the ages. Who do you think will win this year’s Legends Cup?
