Administrative Statement: The Evolution of CPA Adminstration

For years, Club Penguin Armies has been at the center of the community with the core of its creation staying intact. However, we believe it is time to evolve. Therefore, the Club Penguin Administration has a major announcement to make regarding its future.

Merging Executive Producer and Chief Executive Producer Roles

Recently, an issue has arisen regarding the Executive Producer and Chief Executive Producer roles. The EP position was created to allow Admins to take on this role while still being able to assist armies if they chose to. Meanwhile, the CEP position was established for unaffiliated Admins to help prevent any potential bias in voting decisions.

However, the Club Penguin Armies team now believes that this distinction is no longer necessary, as both positions are still part of the administration. Keeping them separate creates an unnecessary and imbalanced dynamic.

Therefore, we have decided to merge these two roles into one. Moving forward:

  • Admins who are in the Chief Executive Producer role and are involved with armies will not participate in any discussions related to the army they are affiliated with.
  • Affiliated individuals in the Chief Executive Producer position will not be permitted to vote on any cases involving armies they partake in.

Redefining Executive Producer Role as Admin-in-Training

In addition to this merger, the Executive Producer role will now serve as an Admin-in-Training position to ensure a structured leadership transition. While the title remains the same, its purpose is shifting to focus on preparing individuals for future Administration roles.

Individuals in this role will undergo training for the Administration position for a maximum of one month.

During their training, the Executive Producer will:

  • Partake in all Admin discussions.
  • Be involved in all meetings with CPA’s partners (CPAB/CPAJ), the Army Board, Head of Department discussions, and more.
  • Attend these meetings and conversations alongside the Admins strictly as an observer, with no influence on decision-making.

We understand that concerns may arise; however, being selected for this role is a deliberate and carefully considered decision. The Administration urges the community to remain mindful and respectful of this process.

No Tolerance for Interference

There have been concerns that visibility of this role may lead to conflicts, including harassment or witch-hunting. This behavior will not be tolerated, and any attempts to harass, target, or undermine the Executive Producer will result in disciplinary action:

  • First Offense: Formal warning issued by the Admin team.
  • Second Offense: Temporary mute or suspension from community discussions (24-48 hours).
  • Third Offense: Extended suspension (up to one week).
  • Severe or Repeated Offenses: Ban from the community and revocation of any existing privileges.

Additionally, any attempts to interfere with the selection process—such as pressuring Admins, spreading misinformation, or trying to influence decisions—will not be tolerated. Those found engaging in such behavior will face similar consequences, up to and including removal from the community.

Any concerns or disputes regarding this process will be handled solely by the Administration, and any interference will ultimately be addressed at their discretion.

This process is an administrative decision, and interference will not be allowed.

The Future of CPA

Now that the EP and CEP roles will be merged into one, Edu14463 will officially take on this new position, effective immediately. The Administration is extremely delighted and proud of Edu’s continuous hard work and dedication within the league. Edu has consistently made significant contributions by assisting with tournaments, planning, overseeing departments, and more. All of this is deeply appreciated within the league, and we would like to extend our congratulations to Edu on becoming the newest Chief Executive Producer.

With that being said, there is one more individual who will be joining the Administration team. This person has been part of the Media Team since August of last year. They have consistently supported the Reporting Department, rising through the ranks from Reporter in Training to now Editor in Chief. Their ongoing contributions extend beyond the Media Department, as they have consistently assisted the Administration with tasks that support the growth and development of both their team and the league. This individual has proven to be a loyal and dedicated figure, not only within this league but also across other areas of the community. We are honored to welcome Snork to the Club Penguin Armies Administration team, effective immediately following this announcement.

As we enter this new era filled with changes, we are certainly excited and have full trust in this transition. We are forever grateful for everyone’s continued work within the league and extend our thanks to all the Heads of each department and the staff. We are also continuously grateful for our partners, Club Penguin Army Judges and CPBattleground. Additionally, we would like to thank every individual within the community and the army leaders themselves for placing their trust in this league and for their ongoing support.
