The Spartans have officially shut their doors for good in an attempt to revive the Mercenaries. Let us find out more information on what occurred with the Spartans, and what we may see for the future of the Mercenaries.
Before the Spartans had hit their two-week mark of revival, Adan, one of the creators of the original Spartans, also known as Polar Operations Security Team before their name rebrand, announced in the late hours of January 26 announcing, with a hint, that the army will be officially closing its doors for good for a revival of the Mercenaries.
Less than two weeks ago, the Spartans had their last revival event on January 14 with the original announcement of this revival on January 1. This would be their third revival since their doors opened on May 25, 2024.
In a following announcement, on January 30 the Mercenaries announced the revival of their third generation in an announcement including a post. The post introduces the new leaders joining the army: Callisto25x, Tribal, and Mercenaries legends Bull Hour and Midnight. The writing expresses that the army are all set to enter the community and contribute. However, the exact date of their revival was not announced at the time.
Club Penguin Armies sat down with Adan to get an exclusive interview with him and learn more about the shut-down and revival of the Mercenaries for their third generation.
Your announcement had hinted that the Spartans may stay shut down for good, can you confirm that we may not see the Spartans come back to light again?
Probably, but I won’t revive it. Anyone can revive it, they need perms from Lord Pain.
What can we expect out of the revival for the Mercenaries?
Expect that the limit is the sky.
Do you believe this revival for the Mercenaries will be more successful than Spartans?
Yes.
