In a sudden twist of events, the People’s Imperial Confederation saw three of its leaders step down from their positions. Let us uncover more details about why Alucard, Jojo Teri, and Snaqe made that decision.
The People’s Imperial Confederation was founded by Small/Medium Army Legend Sidie9 and SirProditor in 2019. In their most recent generation, they partook in several conflicts, such as the Bloodbath Barrage, in which they were victorious, World World IX, and the Christmas Crusade. In addition, they also witnessed warfare with several armies like the Winged Hussars, Special Weapons and Tactics, and Penguins of Madagascar. Surprisingly the Confederates were victorious in all of these conflicts. After their creator, Sidie9, and former leader Shallissa departed from the army, a new generation of leaders had to step up.
Alucard embarked on a new journey in his army career by enlisting in PIC in late May 2023. Right after his departure from the Army of Club Penguin, Alu found himself at home as the Confederation’s new Leader-in-Training (LiT). Three weeks after World War IX, he finally earned his promotion to Leader. As for Jojo Teri, he joined the Confederation as a LiT on January 19th, given his previous experience in the Water Vikings. Among the three, Snaqe (Kobi) was the newest leader, as he was sworn in as PIC’s Commander-in-Chief only on July 28, 2024. Prior to that, he had acquired valuable experience in the Napalm Corps, and, after moving to the Confederation, worked hard to attain a leadership position.
Throughout their time in the army, all three leaders worked hard to help PIC grow and conquer noteworthy achievements. Some of them go from the New Year Bonanza‘s victory and several war victories against armies like the Winged Hussars, Special Weapons and Tactics, Penguins of Madagascar, and, the most recent one against the Secret Service. The army saw many ups and downs in Top Ten placements, but happily collected two moves up to the Major category. Even though not retaining it for long, this revealed the army’s potential to reach great heights.
Nonetheless, every journey, whether good or bad, must come to an end. On October 18, Jojo publicly announced that he was stepping down from the Confederation leadership. He mentioned that he will not be completely off the grid, but will stay in contact to help in any decision or advisory. Jojo mentioned that his activity will see a significant bump in Club Penguin Army Judges, as its newest Head Judge. Only a few moments later, Snaqe also announced his departure in a very objective way. Alu also retired on the same day, but, differently, did not announce his leave – only addressing it today. The army has officially entered in a hiatus after these retirements and many high-command members being busy.
Club Penguin Armies reached out to all three leaders to gather a full interview and get an insight into their departures.
Can you tell us more about why you decided to leave PIC?
Alu: I’ve struggled with motivation these past few months and my retirement has been a long time coming, I tried to delay it as much as I could but that made my decision to depart and retire from CPA all the more likely.
Jojo: Ever since before I joined PIC i knew my free time would be reduced after September so I was prepared to leave around then. That combined with the fact that I became a CPAJ hj made it even worse and I realised i often focused more on cpaj instead of pic. Also I got tired of being in an army and wanted to try armyless life for a bit. So all that combined with some internal communication issues made me decide to leave from PIC.
Snaqe: School. As the school year started, I also started to lose interest in CPA. I was M.I.A in every CPA related servers and events
Could you list some of your favorite moments in the army?
Alu: Some of my favourite memories have to be the moments after we won our trophies back to back, seeing everyone so happy and celebrating our combined efforts was a great feeling.
Jojo: There have been plenty moments that are among my favourite. When it comes to battles the Battle for the Migrator against SS was one of my favourites for sure, seeing all the hype and activity in the PIC server. I also liked the Around the World tournament battles as it had a unique design and PIC managed to win the SM section of it. There were many non club penguin good moments too, messing around in PIC. I remember after a staff meeting when we played the death by AI minigame and it was so chaotic.
Snaqe: There’s alot honestly, my current favorite one is July Jeopardy. It was one of the most intense moments I had but I had alot of fun and was glad to experience such a one of a lifetime battle. Not to mention Beach Brawl III, as it was my first tournament in my CPA time.
Do you think you achieved everything you wanted to as a leader?
Alu: When I first joined PIC I never imagined I would become leader so fast, but yes I definitely feel like I achieved everything I wanted, my initial goals were to just have fun and maybe get listed in the hall of fame, I never thought once we’d oversee 3 back to back trophies as well as a 100% war record going into 2024. Picking up Legend and Medal of Honour along the way were icing on the cake, but I definitely couldn’t have done it without any of the leaders I worked with during my time in the army.
Jojo: I believe there are always more things to achieve, no matter what you do. But I still think I achieved a lot in PIC, more than I initially expected. PIC managed to win every war, apart from the one against HF, so 4 if I remember correctly, every SM tournament that it participated in and even became major twice so I feel thats a huge success.
Snaqe: I’d personally say maybe, I didn’t really have any goals while being a leader aside recruiting and doing leader stuff lmfao (you get what I’m saying ). But just after a few weeks of acquiring leader, school went by and I became inactive and lost time of doing stuff for CPA
How do you look at PIC in the future?
Alu: I think PIC will do well in the future, Saber and Sweater are great leaders and I can see them achieving big things with the army.
Jojo: Personally I wont have much involvement in PIC anymore rather than Congress duties which involves hall of fame/medals stuff and leadership advising. Whether PIC will do well or not solely depends on the remaining commanders right now and their actions.
Snaqe: I wish a better future and luck for PIC. I wish for the best to the HCOMS, Staff, Troops and current leaders.
Undoubtedly, these three leaders left a lasting impact in the Confederation, and now wish to enjoy a well-deserved retirement. We, at Club Penguin Armies, wish them good luck in their future endeavors. How do you think PIC is going to hold? Will they witness a complete boost to a new status soon?
