Coolguy has been a role model and a wonderful dictator, leaving an incredible legacy behind him. In this section of Memorable Moments, we were able to speak with Coolguy to find out his greatest experiences and memories at large.

Currently, Coolguy works solely at Club Penguin Armies as an Editor in Chief. He was promoted the position back in May 2023. In fact, Coolguy has held numerous honorable positions since joining the community in 2011. Check out our Behind the Scenes column with him if you’re interested.
He most recently was a part of the Army of Club Penguin (ACP). ACP won three tournaments under his leadership: Legends Cup XIII, Trick or Treat Trials, and New Year’s Bonanza. Winning the Legends Cup XIII in August 2023 helped Coolguy earn the Bronze Medal, along with his two co-leaders, AustinFraud and Calgocubs21. On March 11, Army Legend CSY awarded Coolguy the Silver Medal, one of the highest honors in the army.
With the vast amount of experience Coolguy has, we reached out to him about what may be the most memorable.
What was your experience in armies like?
My time in armies was wild. I don’t think that I could have had the same experience if I had come into the community later than I did because United Countries set me up for what I would go on to do inside and out of the army. I met people there whose presence influenced me and my next moves.
It’s interesting, however, because there are so many times when one singular move could’ve changed my entire experience, my path and history. If I could go back in time I probably would change parts of it but I don’t dwell on what could have been because we don’t live in the past. I have done a lot of things during the course of my career and that I can say “I did that” and who cares if only I see that or can say that.
What are your biggest/favorable achievements?
My biggest achievements are most likely my most recent: winning three tournaments (including the Legends Cup) with the Army of Club Penguin, earning the Silver Medal, taking the armies I’ve led to places that they’ve never been before and making history within them.
One achievement which does go unnoticed, even by me, is the amount of time and effort I’ve put into media. The changes we’ve made along the way and everything we’ve been able to do since I rejoined in January 2023 is an achievement in itself.
Do you have any plans for the future?
I don’t have any plans and that’s how it was even last year. I did what I did and, of course, at one point I had a focus or a “plan” e.g. the Legends Cup; but there was no overarching plan, it was simply me living in the moment and doing what I can while I can and wanting to do things while I could.
It seems that his philosophy of riding the wave works in his favor as he continues to achieve many great things. What sort of memories will Coolguy make next?
