The Sides of the War
The Beginnings
On March 4, Phantom Republic founder XDemon announced Operation: Dead Cross, describing it as a series of raids on a “mystery army” that would feature several other S/Ms within the community. PRCP hosted the event and declared a “temporary unification” with multiple armies, including the Fire Vikings, the Cryo Vanguard, the Abyssal Tides, and the Phoenix of Club Penguin. XDemon stated that these armies would unite to fight for a common cause.
A Look into PRCP’s History
The Phantom Republic was originally established on October 25, 2024, by several people, including XDemon. Initially, it was known as Nether Knights, but right before the opening event, the name was changed. Shortly after opening, they had already entered a war against another SM army, the Rebel Alliance Commando. The first generation did not end up lasting long, but the army came back almost one year later, on October 15, 2025. The second generation was also short lived, but in it, the army managed to defeat the Witches of Club Penguin in the October Horrors tournament. The army also managed to max 25 in their anniversary event.
The Response
Three days later, on March 7, the Teutons learned of a PRCP raid attempt on their event. In response, they cancelled the event and retaliated by declaring an off-map war on PRCP, marking the beginning of the War of the Phantom Purge. In the war declaration post, Teutonic Leader Justin stated that the declaration stems not only from the raid attempt but also from various attempts to disrupt their community. The Teutons also declared the Republic an enemy, potentially initiating a new conflict between the two armies.
Teuton’s Recent Moves
The Teutons returned to the community this year, on January 18, after many years of absence. Ever since then, the army has made some moves in the Small-Medium community, declaring war on SWAT right after their opening event. It has also created ties with other armies, allying with the Void Troops, who have now shut down. In the past two months, the army has been in 12th place in the Top Ten of the Month for January and in 15th place in February.
The Escalation
On March 8, Klombe, leader of the Fire Vikings, declared war on the Teutons, aiding PRCP in the conflict. In their declaration, FV stated that it was phase one of The Specter’s Retribution, likely a part of Operation: Dead Cross. The conflict further escalated when, less than an hour later, Abyssal Tides leader Denizmyn also declared war on the Teutons, initiating phase two of The Specter’s Retribution. Subsequent invasions were scheduled for the next day, 2 hours apart, with both armies aiming to help each other in the conflict. The Crimson Sovereign, led by Fruit Salad, additionally declared war on the Teutons, hoping to also help the other S/Ms in the war.
Later that night, XDemon, founder of the Phantom Republic, responded to Teuton’s declaration, redeclaring on them, initiating the final phase of The Specter’s Retribution. In this declaration, PRCP announces its revival, scheduling two invasions that will take place on Wednesday. The armies initially mentioned in the Operation, and the ones that additionally declared war on the Teutons, all seem to have a part in this, with the S/M group planning to assist each other throughout the invasions. Outside of these armies, the Romans have also offered support to the PRCP side initially. Later, they decided to stay out of the war and ceased their support.
First Invasions
All the armies that sent a declaration also scheduled invasions alongside them. The Teutons, the first army to declare, scheduled one on “XDemons Delusion” for March 10, 9 pm EST. The Fire Vikings, the second army that declared, invaded “Alu’s Discord Alts” on March 9, 12 pm EST. The Abyssal Tides also scheduled an invasion on the same day, but 2 hours later, 2 pm EST. The Crimson Sovereign planned the invasion of “Justin’s Toilet” on March 10, 7 pm EST. Finally, the PRCP scheduled two invasions. The first one on “Turtel’s Branwashed lil Noggin” is set to take place on March 11 at 4:59 pm EST, and the “Turtel’s Branwashed lil Noggin pt2” is planned for 7 pm EST on the same day.
The Results
The Fire Vikings’ invasion took place first. In that, the Teutons did not show up, with FV winning automatically. It was followed by the Abyssal Tides’ one, which followed the same pattern. On the other side, PRCP did not show up in the Teutons’ invasion, giving them the win. The Crimson Sovereign invasion never took place. Following that, the first PRCP invasion took place, with the Teutons not reaching the minimum troops required (5). They claimed that they had miscalculated the time of the event, which caused this bad performance. At the same battle, PRCP managed to max 17.
After this invasion was over, the Phantom Republic declared a map war on the Teutons, titled as The Teutonic Plague, aside from the non map one. PRCP owns 0 land, while the Teutons own 1.
This war has already escalated into a large scale Small Medium one. Five armies are currently actively participating in it, with most battles being no-shows. How will the war continue? Will there be an actual battle eventually? Will there be more armies joining it? Let us know about your predictions regarding it.
