Club Penguin Armies Winter Olympics: Results

Throughout the entirety of December and a part of January, staff-only Olympics took place in the Club Penguin Armies. Now, it is time to reveal the results after everything has been counted, and the leaderboards have been created.

How Did the Staff Olympics Work

In the Winter Staff Olympics, all active staff participated, gaining points after completing a task for their department. It included 3 competitions. In the first one, the departments faced eachother, with the total points per department being taken into account. In the following competition, staff members competed against each other per department. The one with the most points in a department won. Which means there was a winner per department. The final competition combined departments and took into consideration the total points. This means that if someone had completed tasks in two departments, they would receive the sum of their points in that competition. Additionally, in the final one, they were rewarded with extra points for activity, winning special staff events, and participating in them.

The Leaderboards

Counting all the points and putting everything together was the toughest part, and the one that took the most time. Staff could win points for a variety of tasks, from hosting a poll to creating a thumbnail. Out of all the departments, the Media department had the most contributors, a total of 24.

Department Rankings

Department Points

In last place, there is the Social Media department, with 1410 points. The department released multiple YouTube videos, mainly Christmas Chaos XV related and Klondike After Hours. It also released several videos on TikTok, while the Club Penguin Armies Spotify also opened at that time. Following them, there was the Community Committee. The Committee hosted a lot of activities during that period. Probably too many to even be properly analysed here. In short, they began with the 24 Road to Christmas activities, then continued with the Christmas Ornaments and Christmas Playlist competitions. After that, they hosted the Iceberg Jubilee, End of the Year Gala, as well as other smaller-scale activities. Despite all that, they managed to collect 1485 points in total.

Right above them, there was the Graphics department. The department managed to collect 1520 points in total. It created posts with custom red coloured thumbnails, as well as other graphics for the organisation, like the CCXV and Gala trophies, and the CPA Christmas tree. Just short of 2000 points, in third place, was the Top Ten Committee. The committee kept doing its job, as it normally does, trying its best to give accurate calculations and fast Top Tens. In the second place, the Moderation department managed to get 2242 points. The department ensured that the server remains safe and the chats are civilised, warning, muting, kicking, or banning the offenders.

In the first place, there is the Media department, with 3630 points. The department managed to break the most posts record once again, reaching 120 posts in December, a number that had not been achieved by any organisation in several years. Thus, there is no surprise in it getting the first place. It managed to get out news posts, columns, opinions, satires, editorials, and other special type posts.

Congratulations to everyone who made it to the top 3 in any department! You can message me if you are out of the top 3 and wish to find your rank and points in a department. I will eventually publish all ranks in the Staff server, though. Notice that Admins, Edu14463 & Jojo Teri are excluded from all the rankings, but their contribution was counted in the department points.

Global Rankings

These rankings include the sum of the points gained by each person, with some variations, mainly in the Mod department, as well as some extra points. Extra points could be given if a staff member was active on the server, after completing some community-related tasks, or winning in a staff game event. Before I reveal the final rankings, shoutout to all the staff who were active and completed any tasks during the Winter Olympics. All together, 14289.2 points were collected by all the staff members. Below you can see the top 5 staff with the most points achieved.

  1. Kazoo – 514.8

  2. MasterDS – 476.5

  3. Pingo – 456.84

  4. Kira – 450.8

  5. Beasto – 428.8

Rewards

Now that all the counting is finished and the leaderboards are out, it is time to distribute the rewards. The rewards vary from Nitro to the Grand Olympics winner Kazoo, to various cosmetics, like roles and graphics, to the Department section winners, and to the winning Department. The full details about that can be found on the staff server.

The Winter Olympics count is finally over. Congratulations to the winners and shoutout to everyone who participated. Are you looking forward to the next CPA Olympics, which will be public? Did you expect these results in the Winter Olympics?
