The sixth day of Operation: Winter Storm had less chaos than the previous few days. On this day of the Club Penguin Armies beta test of the new server map, there were three invasions against another team and one freeland invasion. We recap all tournament battles and invasions on January 29, 2026.

Operation: Winter Storm is a tournament hosted by Club Penguin Armies to beta test its new map. Players are divided into four teams, set by their army if affiliated and chosen if not, namely Red, Blue, Green, and Black, all fighting for land, aiming to have the most by Sunday. Since our last check-in on this tournament, teams finished invading all available free land. Additionally, we saw a massive revelation from the blue, red, and green teams after the last battle of the day.
This post provides summaries of each battle and updates on newly declared invasions.
Free Land Invasions
Blue declared the last free land invasion of OP:WS on Marshmallow and maxed nine. Because their max exceeded five, they successfully invaded Marshmallow.

Blue vs Green Battle
Blue and Green had only one battle at 4:30 PM EST for Blue’s invasion of Deu Branco. This invasion was a highly contested battle, especially since Green held a size advantage during the entirety of the battle. However, this battle still had two rooms, as per OP: WS standards for no overtime. The first room resulted in a tie between Blue and Green, with Green at around 15 and Blue at 11 throughout the room. However, Blue managed to defend its smaller size with better form throughout and to cover Green. Additionally, Green’s forms were slightly weaker throughout the first room, resulting in a tie in room one.
The second room carried a slightly lower margin between the teams, with Green at 15 and Blue at 12. At the beginning of the room, neither army performed well, but Blue mounted a strong defense against a Green waterfall and showed better form toward the end. However, Green’s slowness over the last couple of minutes of the room allowed Blue to cover Green more and pull off a win despite Green’s smaller size.
With the two-room standard, Blue had a 1-0-1 record in this battle, pulling off the overall win and successfully invading Deu Branco.

Red vs Black Battles
Red scheduled two invasions on Day 6. The first was an AUSIA invasion of Rainy at 7:35 AM EST. Because Black did not participate in the invasion, Red successfully invaded Rainy.

The second battle of the day was a US invasion of Southern Lights at 5:35 PM EST. Both rooms had Red enter before Black. Neither team performed particularly well in the first room, with Black covering in good form at times during the battle and Red at others. Regardless, Red had a 16-10 size advantage and better overall form and speed. This combination of factors led to a room one victory for Red.
The second room had Red outnumber Black by 6 or 7 troops, with a 14-8 and later 15-8 size difference. Both teams performed well, with Red showing some bad form and Black showing a bad V-form. However, despite this evenness in adopting clean forms, Red’s size advantage was deemed too great for Black to overcome. As a result, Red also won room two.
With a 2-0-0 room score, Red succeeded in invading Southern Lights. The sweep left Black with one server remaining, scheduled for Day 7, January 30, 2026, which Red scheduled at an AUSIA invasion.
Potential Alliance
The end of the invasion of Southern Lights led to two surprising invasions declared by Red and Green on Blue. Less than a minute after the invasion ended, Red and Green declared invasions of Tuxedo and Fog, in a move evocative of the Black Ice Alliance. Perhaps this alliance can henceforth be called the Red Clover Alliance, and this two-day war is against the Blue Vikings. As a result, one Blue leader, Raven, evoked a crashout worthy of politicians.
