One in Another One Out: Janitors Shut Down, Phoenix Reopens

Recently, the community witnessed the rise and fall of two armies as the Janitors announced their shutdown while the Phoenix of Club Penguin announced its revival. Let us take a closer look into these developments.

On Monday, the Janitors decided to shut down as one of their leaders, Zall, had agreed to step down after recently opening. Furthermore, the leader, Pranav, has decided to place the army on hiatus since he has now enlisted in the Dark Warriors, and they have no staff there. Now, on behalf of Pranav, Darci announced that the revival of the army won’t happen, and the people could leave the server.

Club Penguin Armies interviewed Pranav, the Janitors’ leader, about the army’s sudden shutdown.

What do you think will be the impact of this shutdown on the army?

Pranav: It wasn’t the time to be, and there are other reasons I disliked the idea of revival more at the time. Mostly, because I could not make myself available when I am focusing on Dark Warriors first and because zall also has other things to do.

Will there be a likelihood of reviving the army?

Pranav: I’m not allowing a revival of Janitors unless someone is serious about recruiting staff themselves. I also don’t see another revival happening in the foreseeable future unless I feel confident I have the time, energy, and ability to create my own army. I also revoke zall’s eternal perms to Janitors for personal reasons, nothing against him though, he was honestly trying. I will not allow it either until I see a functional staff team. (If it’s as a meme army and people are actually willing to help out, maybe I change my minds.)

REVIVAL OF PHOENIX OF CLUB PENGUIN

On January 18, Arceuszz decided to revive Phoenix of Club Penguin, which had previously shutdown on January 10 due to Arceuszz being busy with real-life commitments. The army held an event on the same day as its revival announcement.

What was your reason behind the army’s revival?

Arceuszz: Because I wanted to in addition to more allies

Will there be a future for the army after revival?

Arceuszz: Not really

Despite the shutdown of Janitors, all is not seem to be lost as Pranav focuses his efforts towards DW. Additionally, with the recent revival of the Phoenixes can as well, we can possibly expect to see a shakeup in the community. How will the shutdown of Janitors impact the community?
