The Christmas Chaos XV semi finals are set to start this weekend. With two exciting battles taking place, the community is eager to know who will advance to the finals.

Last week, four battles took place in this year’s Christmas Chaos tournament. The Aliens, Water Vikings, Army of Club Penguin, and Rebel Penguin Federation won their respective battles, qualifying for the semi finals of CCXV. Unlike previous years, all four armies managed to win all three rooms in their battles. Although the quarter finals had one-sided victories, the semi finals will have much closer battles.
These battles will also be large, as the four armies maxed 40-60 in their quarter final battles. As the semi finals are more significant, each army is expected to bring an even larger size this weekend. The winner of the semi finals will move on to the finals, where they will compete for the CCXV trophy.
Club Penguin Armies interviewed various members of the community, to find out who they think will move on to the finals.
Aliens vs. Water Vikings
In the past few weeks, the Aliens and Water Vikings have been trading places on the Top Tens. The Aliens placed higher for the past two weeks, while the Water Vikings placed higher the two weeks before that. In terms of size, the Aliens tend to max higher at certain times, while the Water Vikings tend to max more consistently. Moreover, the Aliens averaged 61 in the quarter finals, while the Vikings averaged 43, giving the Aliens a size advantage.
Aliens battling RPF in Legends Cup XV
One advantage that the Vikings have over the Aliens is that they host Club Penguin Armies Battlegrounds events more often than the Aliens, who prefer to host on Club Penguin Journey. Although the Water Vikings are more used to CPAB, the Aliens have had more recent tournament success. They won the October Horrors Major Division and made it to the finals of Legends Cup XV. Will the Aliens outsize the Vikings? Will the Water Vikings utilise their CPAB experience?
Ghostt: I think Aliens will beat WV 3-1-0. Aliens started the tournament off strong so naturally I am just excited and hoping they get to face RPF in grand finals.
Borapenguins: I’m thinking this might be our first OT of the tournament and the Aliens get the win
Misaki: I think it’ll be an extremely close battle. 1-2-0 WV winning this
WilliamW2010: So for Aliens versus WV it would be close but WV got a good shot based off their recent events
Army of Club Penguin vs. Rebel Penguin Federation
This year, the Rebel Penguin Federation won both Legends Cup XV and March Madness X. They’ve also been consistently placing first on the Top Tens for the past month, making them a strong contender for the tournament. They also have a size advantage over ACP, averaging 65 during their quarter finals battle, whereas ACP averaged 41.
Aliens vs ACP – Forest
On the other hand, the Army of Club Penguin were more successful in minor tournaments and community competitions. ACP made it to the finals of both the October Horrors tournament and the Around The World Cup II. Although they didn’t win, these achievements show that ACP has the potential to make to the finals. The Clovers also won the Summer Army Olympics as well as an Olympics they co-hosted with the Water Vikings. Will the Army of Club Penguin pull through and make it to the finals? Will the Rebel Penguin Federation continue their tournament streak?
Ghostt: RPF probably 3-0s ACP. RPF during Christmas Chaos is a truly different beast so I expect they wont be missing out on Grand Finals. But ACP is known to occasionally show strong performances when it matters most so we will see
Borapenguins – Templars: I think RPF just takes care of business dawg. I foresee a clean 2-1 victory for them
Stevos: I think ACP will put up a strong fight and has the potential to be close, but I ultimately think RPF will get the win here, 3-0-0 RPF

The community seems excited about the upcoming battles. The predictions for Aliens vs Water Vikings are an even split, with the battle predicted to be close.
