Cleaners Enter the Community and Quickly Rebrand

On December 1, the Cleaners of Club Penguin opened their doors, joining a long line of new and returning Small/Medium armies. This army would not last, however, as they would swiftly rebrand to the Seraphic Imperium.

Cleaning up the community

With the coming of December, so too came a new army to the community. The Cleaners of Club Penguin emerged seemingly out of nowhere, founded by Photo, QRA, and Frosty. Although all three leaders are relatively new to the army scene, Photo is a former leader of the Phantom Republic.  Their opening event saw a maximum of 3, reflecting the juvenile nature of the army. Although the army was infantile in nature, it immediately began receiving comparisons to Da Best‘s Janitors.

Seraphic Startup

On December 4, only three days following their original registration with Club Penguin Armies, the army underwent a rebrand. The reasons for this change are unknown; however, some speculate that it is due to comparisons with the aforementioned Janitors. Despite the challenges faced, the Seraphic Imperium would open with a max of 5 at their initial event.

To find out more about the Cleaners, Club Penguin Armies contacted Photo for an interview, prior to their rebrand.

I. What led to the formation of this army? Why choose the name ‘Cleaners’?

The formation of this army was caused by us 3 leaders, Me, Frosty, and QRA wanting to build a fun community doing what we love (club penguin) and overall we just wanted to be the ones who caused a fun community. The origin of the name cleaners is all frosty’s idea I dont really know the idea behind it but its pretty cool (no we’re not a janitors rip off)

II. What are your aspirations for the army? Do you have any plans for the near future?

Im not sure about the rest of the leader team but I want to build a community thats really caring a welcoming (yes I will be declaring war every other week and yes xdemon rubbed off of me) but I also want for this army to be big and I wanna get people into club penguin/CPA. My plans personally are at least get top 5 preferably top 3 on CPA top ten, for us to be successful (basically what I js said) and overall js be loved by the community (AND STOP BEING COMARED TO THE JANITORS)

III. You say you want to break into the top 5. How do you plan on achieving this?

I plan on doing this by making sure our events are consistent also making sure the members are actually interested in this also knowing my team and making sure theyre happy because if the members arent happy whats the point of top 10?

IV. Thank you very much for your time. Do you have anything else you’d like to add?

Cleaners > Janitors
Xdemon is the goat

Following the army’s rebranding, Club Penguin Armies reached out to Photo for a statement regarding such changes. Unfortunately, they have yet to reply.

Clearly, the Seraphic Imperium are off to a good start, with a stronger initial showing than the Cleaners. Despite the army’s unfortunate circumstances, we are sure they will achieve great things. But what are your thoughts on the Cleaners? Furthermore, what do you think of the Seraphic Imperium? What do you predict for this army’s future?
