Double Deck the Halls is a tournament hosted by the Army of Club Penguin. This year, the battle occurred on Saturday, November 29. This time, the tournament saw a change: instead of several of ACP’s allies participating, their divisions Alpha and Echo faced off against the Rebel Penguin Federation’s divisions, Navy and Air Force, forming two teams, the AI Force and the Crumble Crusaders, to compete on the battlefield.

Last year’s Double Deck the Hall’s Battle
This twist made the battle more engaging to watch, as both army divisions came together in Christmas-themed costumes to fight for holiday-themed victory. With both armies performing at their highest level, it was certainly a very close battle. Let us take a closer look at the battle and see who emerged victorious.
COVE – CRUMBLE crusaders

CC vs. AIF – Cove
Room 1 began with the Crumble Crusaders entering first, followed by the AI Forcee. The AI Force forms an upside-down V, while the CC forms an upside-downT. CC’s UT covers the room nicely, dominating throughout the battle. AI Force’s UV struggles with bunching and slowness, while Crumble Crusader’s UT is significantly faster. Following this, the AI Force rakes the room while the Crumble Crusaders defend quickly, holding coverage of the room. The AI Force makes a U form while the Crumble Crusaders make a UV form. The Crusaders’ form is a lot neater, and they have better speed and completion, while the AI Force struggles. The AI Force then bombs, and CC follows after. The Crusaders then form a neat X while the AI Force makes a neat plus form.
Throughout this room, the Crumble Crusaders dominated, having better forms, neater and faster tactics, securing them the win for this room.
Inside Mine – CRUMBLE CRUSADERS

CC vs. AIF – Stadium
Room 2 began with the Crumble Crusaders entering the room first, once more with the AI Force following quickly after. The Crusaders form a neat triangle form while the AI Force makes a backwards L form that eventually shifts into a plus form, giving them more coverage; however, the Crumble Crusaders continue to dominate the room. The Crusaders bomb while the AI Force slowly defends. AI Force follows bombing afterwards, while the Crusaders make a T form. The AI Force then makes a V form that makes them look small. The Crusaders then waterfall the room while the AI Force once more struggles to defend quickly. The AI Force then bombs. The Crusaders form a left arrow form while AI Force makes a T.
Throughout the room, the Crumble Crusaders continued to keep their momentum, giving them complete coverage, giving them the win for R2.
Stadium – AI Force

CC vs. AIF – Stadium
Room 3 began with the AI Force entering the room first, with them making a neat upside-down A form. The Crusaders slowly make a Z form while AI Force betters their pace throughout this room, looking a lot better. The AI Force then waterfalls while the Crumble Crusaders struggle to defend. The AI Force makes a neat L while CC makes a UT. Throughout this room, the Crusaders are a lot slower to get into forms, while the AI Force has better coverage, dominating the room. The AI Force then whirlpool the room while CC bombs late. The AI Force then makes a upside-down Y form while the Crusaders make a plus form. The UY covers the room, making the AI Force look significantly bigger, maintaining their dominance throughout the entire room.
The AI Force woke up this room, having a good pace and neat forms that made them look big, giving them the win for R3.
As you can see, despite the tough clash, the Crumble Crusaders took home the victory for this Double Deck The Halls. Congrats to the Crumble Crusaders on this victory, and great effort to the AI Force for another entertaining clash. What did you think of this battle? Which armies do you think will participate next year?
