Over the past week, we have witnessed one of the most interesting conflicts in the Small/Medium scene recently, between the Templars and the Void Troops. Today, we will recap the battles that have occurred.

On November 15, the Second Divine Reckoning War began, launching another conflict between the Void Troops and the Templars. Since their last conflict, both sides have changed significantly, resulting in a very different outcome so far. Since the beginning of the war, several other armies have gotten involved, such as the People’s Imperial Confederation, the Dark Warriors, and the Romans.

Battle 1: Void Troops Invasion of Ascent vs. Templars
The first battle to take place was the Void Troops’ invasion of Ascent. Room 1 saw both armies perform fairly evenly with regard to speed, size, and formations, leading the Judges to deem it a tie. Rooms 2 and 3 were vastly different, with VT pulling ahead in all factors, resulting in both rooms 2 and 3 going to them, providing them a victory in the first battle.

Battle 2: Void Troops Invasion of Flippers
Later that day, another battle took place, which would signal the volatile nature of this war. Room 1 began once more with both armies performing evenly, resulting in a tie. Room 2 begins with the Templars entering first, and them pulling ahead in terms of size, as well as having notably superior formations and overall tactics. As a result, Room 2 was a Templars victory. Room 3 was a noticeably similar story to the previous room, with Templars outperforming the Void Troops in every manner, resulting in another victory for TCP. As a result, TCP claimed victory in the second battle of the war.

Battle 3: Void Troops’ Invasion of Great White
The third battle of the war was arguably the closest of them all. Both armies started strong; however, due to superior speed and formations, the Templars took Room 1. Room 2 was much the same, with TCP having a much larger size, and once more superior forms. This leads Room 2 to also be a Templars victory. Room 3 saw significant changes, as VT improved their speed and tactics, allowing them to come out victorious. Ultimately, this battle was another win for TCP.

Battle 4: Void Troops Invasion of Sabertooth
Due to TCP failing to attend, with members instead using the PIC army tag, this battle was invalidated, resulting in an automatic VT win.

Battle 5: Void Troops Invasion of Flippers
This battle was very interesting for many reasons. Firstly, VT was meant to invade Flippers on Tuesday, but due to Club Penguin Army Battleground being down, they had to reschedule.
The first room begins with VT dominating due to superior size, speed, and forms. Strangely, when Room 2 was due to be announced, Head Judge Shpec announced the battle would be invalidated, due to TCP not maxing the required 10. Despite this, the Templars only actually needed to max 5, leading to mass confusion.
Due to this issue, both armies agreed to continue the battle at a later time. Approximately 2 hours later, the battle restarts, with VT once again taking control. Despite VT far outperforming TCP, the battle was invalidated entirely.

Battle 6: Dark Warriors Invasion of Abracadabra
This battle marks the advent of external help for the Void Troops, and due to the Templars’ failure to attend, the Dark Warriors were automatically victorious.

Battle 7: Templars’ Invasion of Kosciuszko
The battle for Kosciuszko begins with VT having double the size of TCP, as well as poorer forms, size, tactics, and coverage, leading Room 1 to be a Void Troops victory. Room 2 was much the same, with the gap getting slightly smaller between the two; however, VT still emerged victorious due to superior coverage and forms. The third and final room of this battle saw the Templars step up their game, allowing for this to be a tie.

Battle 8: Romans’ Invasion of Puddle
The first battle of the war involving the Romans began with them being highly inactive, and despite having a small size advantage, this led to them losing their first Room of the war. Room 2 was extremely similar, with Templars having better formations, speed, size and coverage, resulting in another TCP victory. The third and final room of this battle played out very similarly to the previous two, with the Romans failing to complete many tactics, resulting in a 3-0 TCP victory.

Battle 9: Void Troops Invasion of Great White
VT’s Invasion of Great White began with both armies having relatively small sizes, roughly 8-5 in favour of VT. This continued throughout Room 1, and due to having superior speed, formation, and tactics, the Void Troops won this Room. Room 2 was quite a similar story, with sizes being 11-3 VT, and due to TCP’s extreme inactivity, VT claimed this Room. The third and final room played out the same as the previous two, with TCP floundering in regards to size, resulting in a decisive VT win.

Battle 10: Void Troops Invasion of Sled
The invasion of Sled was rather close, beginning with Void Troops having superior tactics, formations, and speed, which led to their victory in Room 1. Room 2 began with VT holding a large size advantage, roughly 19-9. Despite this, the room ended as a tie, due to VT’s inactivity and poor formations. Room 3 saw weak moments from both armies, with sizes being more equal, and all other factors similar, this room was also a tie.
Battle 11: People’s Imperial Confederation’s Invasion of Sabertooth
This battle begins with PIC having a slight size advantage, roughly 15-11, and the Confederates having much neater completion and forms. As Room 1 progresses, it becomes evident that it belongs to PIC due to superior pacing and neater forms. Room 2 only emphasises PIC’s dominance, with the size gap widening to roughly 17-10, with PIC “dominating the room” according to Judges. As such, Room 2 was a PIC victory. Room 3 sees the battle even up slightly, with both armies performing well. Despite VT’s improved performance, PIC slowed down slightly, leaving Room 3 as a tie.

Battle 12: Templars’ Invasion of Ice Berg
For the last battle of the day, we saw TCP’s Invasion of Ice Berg. Room 1 begins with sizes being 18-14 in favour of the Crusaders. Their size is reflected in their forms and completion, being superior to VT. Due to these reasons, TCP take Room 1. Room 2 was much closer in all terms, resulting in it being a tie. Room 3 saw the Void Troops perform far better in regards to forms, speed, and tactics, leading to their victory. As a result of the score of 1-1-1, the battle went to overtime, in which both armies fought hard, but VT emerged victorious.

Battle 13: Dark Warriors Invasion of Puddle vs. Templars
Once again, we see a Dark Warriors invasion of Templars’ land in which the Crusaders fail to emerge. This results in another automatic DW victory.

Battle 14: Templars’ Invasion of Kosciuszko
Yet another battle that would go to overtime, this began with the Void Troops taking an early lead. The first Room was decided by small details such as slightly better forms, with VT winning R1. Room 2 reflected the intensity of the battle, with both armkies performing exceptionally well, resulting in a tie. Room 3 saw the Templars improve their forms and coverage, resulting in a Crusader victory in R3. In the overtime Room, both armies were neck and neck; however, due to slight superiorities, VT won the OT Room, and thus the battle.
Sunday, November 23
Battle 15: Void Troops Invasion of Sled
Room 1 of our final battle for today begins with VT taking an early size advantage of roughly 17-12. Continuing through the room with superior forms and tactics, VT take this room. Room 2 establishes the armies and near equals, with tactics, forms, and speed all being equal; this room is a tie. Room 3 ends the battle once more with both sides being equal in all aspects, resulting in another tie.

Evidently, the recent conflict in the community has presented a new wave of activity. With many battles still to come, who knows how the rest of the war will play out? Who do you think will emerge victorious? Will the Templars come out on top, or will the Void Troops prevail once more? Be sure to let us know your thoughts.
