Second Reckoning: Dark Warriors and PIC Enter the War

The war between the Void Troops and the Templars has gained new contingents. The Dark Warriors and the People’s Imperial Confederation come into the picture, illuminating the flames of war with greater magnitude. Let us dive deeper into the war’s present status.

On November 15, the Void Troops declared war against the Templars, kicking off Divine Reckoning II. VT took this step because the Templars declined a trade offer with Ascent, and VT also wanted to unfold warfare in the army community. Moreover, this war succeeds the previous VT-TCP war, dubbed the Divine Reckoning War, which took place in August this year.

More recently, the Dark Warriors and the People’s Imperial Confederation have become involved in the war, with the former exhibiting explicit participation. DW is on VT’s side, while PIC is supporting the Templars. It is worth noting that PIC and VT were allies before, and this war has rebuilt PIC’s alliance with TCP. On the other hand, DW has been openly expressing its support for VT in the war long before entering. Currently, the war score is 10-0-4, in favor of VT and DW.

People’s Imperial Confederation asserts its support for the Templars in the ongoing war

The Void Troops began the war with their successful invasion of Ascent on November 16, after which they grabbed two free lands. The Templars responded by invading Great White. Since then, VT has claimed TCP’s Sabertooth and Flippers, and reclaimed Great White as their own. Notably, the Templars have significantly improved their numbers throughout the war, likely due to external support. Lately, the battles in this war have also been going into overtime and facing ties in one or more rooms.

A glimpse back at the first battle of the war

It should also be noted that the Romans have also provided support to the DW-VT faction. They attempted to join the war directly, scheduling an invasion against the Templars, scheduling an attack on Puddle on November 21. Unluckily for them, they failed to invade successfully. They ended up losing the battle 3-0 and ever since then, they have been assisting indirectly.

According to the latest Top Ten, Void Troops have placed fourth, while Templars are at eighth. On the contrary, their corresponding actively participating allies, DW and PIC, are on the eleventh and ninth, respectively. As a result, the war is expected to escalate.

Club Penguin Armies reached out to DW leader Midnight and PIC leader Scars to learn more about their armies’ involvement in the war.

Why did you choose to join the war?

Midnight: We were offered to join this war and since we haven’t touched the battlefield since our return, we thought it would be a fun experience

scars: We felt that it was an unfair battle going in seeing as VT had been maxing in the 30s right before the war. We felt that as former brother allies, it would only make sense to help the Templars as we too had grown to dislike VT in the week before the war.

What are your army’s own goals in this war? Is there anything your army seeks from this war?

Midnight: We not only seek enjoyment, but we also want to use this war to gain experience and become stronger and much better at battling

scars: We don’t seek anything besides helping TCP win the war.

Do you believe your involvement will impact your army or its reputation in the long run?

Midnight: I think our involvement in this war will impact us in a positive way. We haven’t battled much since our return and each time we battle, the more experience we will gain. I don’t think this war will negatively affect our reputation. The Templars are unhappy that we entered this war, however, they had openly stated they would be interested in warring with us when we returned, and in the past, we were enemies.

scars: Not at all, I am a believer that war is good for both armies and the wider CPA community.

Is there anything else you would like to add?

Midnight: Jerusalem will fall

scars: VIVA PIC VIVA TCP

It appears that the war has upgraded from a simple 1V1 war to a 2V2 conflict, with other armies being involved too. Leaders from both sides look motivated, likely putting up an interesting fight in pairs. Although the nature of this war is debatable, the two armies are yet putting up a good fight by showing up to all battles and playing fair. What do you think the war will turn into? Do you think the alliances could turn the tide of the war?
