On November 15, the Void Troops declared war on the Templars of Club Penguin, starting the Second Divine Reckoning War. In this post, we will look at the tension between the armies and why war was declared.

The relationship between the Void Troops and the Templars of Club Penguin has been changing over time. When the Void Troops were first created, they immediately made a brother alliance with the Templars. However, in August, VT declared war on TCP, titled the Divine Reckoning War. Afterwards, the former won this war with a war score of 15-0-1.

Now, on November 15, the Void Troops declared war on the Templars once more, dubbing it the Second Divine Reckoning War. In the war declaration post, they mentioned that TCP declined trading the server Ascent with them. Additionally, the lack of warfare in the community boosted the need for a declaration from their side.

However, the war would not stay 1v1. The People’s Imperial Confederation has allied with the Templars, aiming to aid VT in the war. On the other hand, the Romans and the Dark Warriors are instead supporting VT.

The first invasion, VT’s invasion of Ascent, took place on November 16. After VT won the invasion, they set Ascent as their capital. Three other invasions have happened since then. As of November 19, 8am EST, the war score is 2-0-2.

Club Penguin Armies has reached out to Templars leader Borapenguins and Void Troops leader Apryl for an exclusive interview regarding the war. However, the latter respectfully declined.

How would you describe the tensions between VT and TCP before the war?

Borapenguins: very distant despite VT’s attempts to reconcile

How did you react to VT declaring war on you?

Borapenguins: They were bound to declare on us. I reacted by doing what I needed to do in order to compete

Do you think your army is capable of winning the war?

Borapenguins: Of course, I have nothing but the utmost faith in our troops and leadership.

Finally, do you have any other words to say?

Borapenguins: I have nothing further to add. I’d rather save my energy for the battlefield.

This is the second conflict between the Void Troops and Templars this year. It seems that both armies are fighting heavily. It also shows the positive effects of the removal of the 1v1 rule in wars, where several other armies have also joined the conflict. Which other armies could join this conflict? Who will emerge victorious?
