Hydro Hopper

The next competition was a game of Hydro Hopper, where troops from both armies submitted their highest scores. The Army of Club Penguin claimed both the highest and third highest scores, winning the competition. Facu, one of the Clovers’ loyal troops, earned 18586 coins, more than double the Vikings’ highest score. This allowed them to tie up the points, 1-0-1.

Cart Surfer

Following the Hydro Hopper competition, the two competed in yet another minigame contest. This time, they played Cart Surfer, submitting their high scores. The Water Vikings claimed both first and second place in Cart Surfer, with Pingoboiii managing to earn 819 coins, beating ACP’s highest score by over 100 coins. With this victory, WV took a small lead with the points being 1-0-2.

Search and Destroy

ACP and WV participated in Search and Destroy, a combination of a battle and Hide and Seek. Each room begun as a game of Hide and Seek, where each army had to search for a penguin (acting as a bomb) that the other army was hiding. After Hide and Seek, the battle part started, with the armies battling for 5-6 minutes. The Clovers claimed a dominant victory, bringing the score to 2-0-2.

Dinosaur Game

Following the Skribbl game, ACP and WV competed in the Dinosaur Game, aiming for the highest score. Pingoboiii once again scored another point for the Vikings in the Dinosaur Game. He earned a high score of 49664, a large lead over second place. With this victory, WV’s lead grew to 2-0-4, making it difficult for the Clovers to catch up.

Igloo Contest

The next competition was an Igloo Contest, where troops submitted their best igloos. Misaki from ACP won first place, scoring a much needed point for the Clovers. Furthermore, the Army of Club Penguin swept the rest of the competition, with the top 3 igloos all being made by the Clovers. With this, the Clovers started catching up to the Vikings, bringing the score to 3-0-4.

Card Jitsu

Continuing with more competitions, the two participated in a Card Jitsu tournament. ACP troop Virus claimed first with their excellent card jitsu skills, helping the Clovers catch up in score. The score was now equal, 4-0-4. With just a few events left in the Olympics, anyone could win.

Unscheduled Mania

The next competition was an unscheduled event, where the army with the highest max wins.  The Army of Club Penguin managed to beat the Vikings by a single troop, 21-20. With this win, the Clovers pulled ahead in points, with a score of 5-0-4. As there is only one event left, the outcome will be either an ACP victory or a tie.

Despite the slight size difference, the battle ended in a tie, bringing the final score to 5-1-4. With this score, the Army of Club Penguin were the victors of the Ragnarök Olympics.

Interviews

To find out more about the Ragnarök Olympics, Club Penguin Armies interviewed Roxy and Escot, leaders of ACP and WV respectively.

What led to you deciding to co-host an Olympics?

Roxy: The idea for a co-hosted Olympics actually came from Cobra a few months ago. We immediately loved the concept, seeing it as a fantastic way to strengthen our relationship and create a fun, engaging experience for everyone. Although it took us a few months to finalize the idea, it turned out fantastic.

Escot: Both of us lately haven’t been the best, noticeably we’ve needed some activity and we’ve also wanted to get closer relations with ACP. Overall it definitely benefited both sides greatly.

What has been your favourite event so far?

Roxy: My favorite event was definitely Unscheduled Mania. It was impressive to see both sides mobilize so many people on short notice as we were only allowed to inform our troops 30 minutes before. The competition was incredibly close, with ACP winning by just a single troop.

Escot: My favorite event I’d say was the search and destroy. It was interesting to see the twist but some troops were confused lol. It was pretty fun and it’s something we definitely haven’t tried in a PB.

Have you ran into any issues with planning or coordinating events?

Roxy: Of course, there were challenges in planning an event which requires this level of communication and coordination from both sides. The main issue was finding event times that worked for both armies, as we hosted events in different times. I’m glad we found a common ground, and I’m grateful for the willingness to compromise on both sides.

Escot: I think the only issue would be the timings of some events because some of them were times that either or side doesn’t usually do or on specific days.

What are your overall thoughts on the co-hosted Olympics?

Roxy: Overall, I’ve loved the spirit of unity and friendly competition. It’s been thrilling to see the scores so close, and I’m grateful for how this has driven our armies closer together. The event themes were creative, and it was amazing to see both armies perform so well.

Escot: I believe the Olympics was a great idea we’ve done. It has benefitted both of our sides and it’s always fun to host something with an ally. Big thank you to our team and ACP for assisting with this fun Olympics. 🫡

It seems that ACP and WV had fun competing in the Ragnarök Olympics. What do you think about the Ragnarök Olympics? Should other armies host their own Olympics? What contests did you find most interesting?
