Welcome to the first edition of the new conspiracy column where we investigate various conspiracy theories around the community. There have been several incidents in the past several weeks that point to a single conclusion. BP owns CPJ. In this post, we will dive deeper, trying to expose the facts behind this statement.

Who is BP?
BP, also known as BestPenguin, or BestPengu, is currently the leader and the co-owner of the Aliens. He has been leading Aliens ever since they opened last year in June. He has stayed with Aliens in ups and downs, wins and losses. Also, most recently, he won the major division trophy of the October Horrors tournament, beating both the Water Vikings and the Army of Club Penguin in the 3-way finals. Under his leadership, Aliens have achieved several other feats as well, winning trophies and wars throughout this year. Additionally, the army has been a major for about half a year. One would question how BP managed to elevate the army so much, turning it from a Small-Medium army to a tournament winning one. This post aims to shed light on that.

BP AND CPJ
Alien Events on CPJ
As the leader of his army, BP decides which CPPS he hosts events on. It has been noticed that the Aliens prefer Club Penguin Journey (CPJ) a lot. The number of Igloo Raids events posted in #event-results further proves this. There are even weeks when the Aliens host 2 Igloo Raids. It is not uncommon to have to count 6-7 CPJ Alien events for the Top Ten in some weeks. There is only one explanation for that. BP owns CPJ and increases the active members by getting the new Alien troops to join it.

BP Receiving Honors in CPJ
On July 14, there was a post released by the official CPJ team in their website regarding BP. In that post, they awarded BP with the title of “Penguin of the Week”. Thus, BP was the 120th POTW of Club Penguin Journey. The full post can be read below. The question that arises is how did BP manage to earn this rare honor of being the Penguin of the Week in CPJ? Only 137 people have accomplished this at the time that the post is written. Why else would an army leader, a kind hated by several CPJ members, receive this award, unless they actually are the CPPS owner?
Fair Party
Recently, CPJ hosted the Fair party. In that, apart from the usual rooms that all CPPS use commonly, there were some extra ones. It was combined with a color party, having four color dedicated rooms. Interestingly, one of the rooms was dedicated to the colour green. Green is the color Aliens use in CPJ. You can make the connection there.

The Green room
From the image, it is visible that CPJ promoted the green color. The whole room is green apart from some exceptions, like there is a brown puffle poster for some reason. You could argue that it could have been ACP who paid CPJ to add that room, as it is also a green army. This idea gets invalidated as soon as you see the next picture.

The green room catalogue
Inside the room, there was a catalogue available. It contained very few green items, with one of them being the Aliens uniform. This boosts the theory a lot and was what initially made me begin the post. It is obvious that BP is behind this and he made the CPJ developers code this into the game. Throughout the Fair party, the whole island had the chance to become an alien.
Halloween Party
The Aliens bias does not stop there, though. More recently, CPJ hosted the annual Halloween party. In this party, the Boiler room is uniquely decorated. It is an experimental laboratory, where you can carry out different experiments like electrocuting penguins.

As you can see, on the bottom left, there is a catalog. Guess what you can find in it! Another alien uniform, in a different style now. This time, the item has a special animation as well. If you press D, an animation begins with an alien kidnapping your penguin. It is a reference to the Aliens and especially their leader, BP, being evil. There is also a party quest involving the item, with it needing 20 penguins to dance, in the Dance Club, while using the item, to complete it. This shows that the item was an important part of the party with most CPJ active players obtaining it.

Me being kidnapped by an alien
Summing up, all these do not seem like a coincidence. BP is definitely the real owner behind CPJ, based on all those facts shared above. It also explains the large recent growth of the Aliens, along with the alien related items that were added recently in CPJ.
Do you think that it is all a coincidence? Is BP the real owner of CPJ, or is he innocent? Should the Aliens be investigated further? Make sure to let us know.
