Recently, one of the newer Small/Mediums in the army scene, the Witches, closed their doors. With a tenure spanning under three weeks, let us investigate what led to their unfortunate closure.

Arrival of the Witches
The Witches were founded on October 13, by Kidboy12edit and Katsura. With an opening event maxing 5, WoCP got right to work expanding their ties in the community. Following their registration, they formed alliances with both the Special Weapons and Tactics as well as the wii phone army. Very recently, they also created an alliance with the Star Force. WoCP were evidently eager to become key players in the S/M scene.
Throughout their lifespan, the Witches participated in the October Horrors tournament, being eliminated in the qualifiers. As well as their unfortunate tournament run, WoCP also were engaged in a war against the Romans, however, this war ended with no battles having been fought.

Falling from broomsticks
Following two and a half weeks of activity, the army has very abruptly closed their doors. On October 28, Witches leader Katsura announced that the army would be going on a hiatus until they had to time to restructure and improve internally.
To find out more about WoCP’s hiatus, Club Penguin Armies contacted Katsura for an exclusive interview.
After only forming 16 days ago, what led you to announce this hiatus?
Stress.
That’s understandable, leading an army certainly isn’t easy. Could we ever see the Witches return, under your leadership, or somebody else’s?
Under mine probably.
Thank you. Would, or could, the next generation of Witches involve Kidboy?
That boy loves making armies so probably.
Clearly, the Witches will be sorely missed by the army community, but who knows what the future holds for them. Following their hiatus, anything could happen. But what do you think? Will WoCP make a comeback? When will they soar again? Could we see Katsura or Kidboy12edit leading anytime soon?
