The first edition of the spooky October Horrors tournament is set to commence this Friday. With armies ranging from small/medium to major, the community is no doubt highly anticipating this upcoming tournament, but what armies are the favorites?

The October Horrors is a four-day tournament taking place on CPA: Battleground from October 24 to October 26, with a Super Cup battle happening on Monday, October 27. The tourney is an opportunity to showcase the best of the army spirit, of both rivalry and dedication, pushing each army to be flexible and rise above the rest throughout different time zones. The October Horrors is a one-of-a-kind competition involving all armies, featuring twists like no Overtime rooms for Qualifiers to Semi-Finals to add excitement. The participating armies will battle each other in a spooky showdown, and the two winners will advance to an extra Super Cup battle to compete for the ultimate victory.

Club Penguin Armies has decided to reach out to the community members to find out who they think will advance to the Super Cup and will be victorious.
What armies do you think will achieve victory, and why?
Zooy, CC Head: obviously smart penguins guys mhmhmhmmm, but in all seriousness, aliens or wv is going to smash everyone out of the water into space, so good luck to everyone else!
Kira, Editor-in-Chief: i think the aliens, wv, and hf will all have a fair shot at this tournament, all armies max relatively similar and based off their performance in the legends cup and recently it will be extremely close. i think acp can also be a sizeable contendor so it will all come down to the timezones, which army performs best when and if their training will pay off
Edu14463, Chief Executive Producer: I believe it’s anyone’s game in the Major bracket, all four armies are maxing around the same so I’m expecting close and entertaining battles! On the S/M side, I’d say either Dark Warriors, TCP, or Romans. All three armies have been placing well on TTs and have been training for the tournament.Runa, HF 3IC: For major armies, I think Aliens will secure the spotlight. Not only are they fitting for the theme of October Horrors, being the aliens, but they’ve also stayed consistent in their rankings for the top ten, placing in the top 5 places. They have big potential to make it far in this tournament, with the Help Force right beside them. For S/M armies, I think the Penguins of Argatha and PRCP have an even chance at making the spotlight. Both armies have had substantial growth, PRCP being a new army, and POA making a reappearance.
Fun X Time, Reporter: I believe that the Aliens may be triumphant at the October Horrors tournament at the Major army level for their excellent training and previous accomplishments. From my view, they have been working really hard and their staff team has been visibly pushing forward. As for the small-medium army community, I feel that the Romans could up their game, although all those armies appear to be at a somewhat equal level. Nevertheless, I hope for good battles throughout the tournament as well as good sportsmanship among all participating armies.
