Even though August is already approaching its end, it is always the perfect moment to look back at the events that shaped our previous month. Filled with milestones, turning points, and shifts within the community, July 2025 left a lasting mark. Let’s take a look at the top five highlights that captured the spirit of the month.

With each passing month comes many memorable moments, but deciding which ones deserve to be considered as the “top moments” is no easy task. The Club Penguin Armies staff team hosts a monthly vote to determine the “Top Five Moments” of the month. With a blasting Summer season in CPA, in addition to bustling activity in staff and the community in a whole, July saw the largest Top Ten of the organization’s history, armies battling it out in Legends Cup XV, participating in the Summer Olympics, and engaging in many more community events. Without further ado, let us reveal the top five moments for June.
5. Lady Eden Is Promoted to Head YouTuber

On July 16, Lady Eden was announced as the newest Head YouTuber, who is now running the department alongside Rye Bread. She has consistently demonstrated a high level of work in her roles since joining CPA, and it is evident that she has been dedicated to being a passionate YouTuber, and can edit and record high-quality videos with great content. A long-time veteran starting in the dawn of the original Club Penguin, and has had an outstanding legacy throughout her career. We are excited to see what she accomplishes as one of the heads of the YouTube department.

4. Club Penguin Armies Celebrates 3rd Anniversary With Special Week

On July 1, Club Penguin Armies celebrated its third anniversary, marking it as the longest-standing CPPS media organization. To make this milestone even more memorable, the Reporting Heads of CPA’s Media Department hosted a special week full of exciting, fun-packed challenges. Among the submissions received, the department rewarded the ones who completed at least four of the seven challenges! Thus, Cena, Dino, Elsa, Kiltanon, Megha, Satchmo, and Turtel won the prize of the 3rd Anniversary Week of Challenges! The community also partook in a cake decorating challenge, in a way to express its unity.
3. Doritos of Club Penguin Announce Immediate Shutdown

The Doritos of Club Penguin, created in 2010, were recently revived in November 2024. They quickly gained speed, and were one of the best major armies from December, reaching Christmas Chaos XIV Finals, and getting great Top Ten placements. Some time after, they got into a war against the Void Troops, which was a harsh loss from DCP. They started to drop in size, HCOM members began an exodus, following an internal instability, and the army fell apart. On June, the army fell to S/M status, and in July 24th, 2025 they officially announced their shutdown.

2. T_T Gets Promoted To Head Judge, Jojo Teri Steps Down

On July 22nd, Jojo Teri announced his departure from Club Penguin Army Judges after being a Head Judge for 366 days. He had a huge impact on the structure of the organization, as he worked with fellow Head Judges to release new judging guidelines. And with his departure, Jojo announced that Deputy Head Judge T_T who has been a superb judge judging a total of 100 battles in his first year of judging, and after completing of his tasks and challenges the other HJ’s sent his way he was ready to join Spotty, Shpec and Yvng as a Head Judge.

1. Casino Time! Club Penguin Armies Presents Legends Cup XV (and Casa Fiesta)

July saw the community’s spotlight shine on Legends Cup XV, the most anticipated tournament of the year. With high stakes and fierce competition, armies brought their best to the battlefield, delivering performances that kept spectators on edge. The event’s Casino Time theme added a playful twist, turning each battle into a roll of the dice where strategy, speed, and spirit determined the winners. Additionally, after the qualifiers battle, a wheel was spun, randomly matching armies against each other. Complementing the tournament was Casa Fiesta, a vibrant room in which armies battled throughout the tournament.

With Summer approaching its end, we still have many activities to witness, such as the upcoming End of Summer Gala, and the ongoing S/M tournament Summer Blitz. As July saw many changes in individual armies and CPA, we now look at how these moments will affect armies in the future. What was your favourite moment from July, and why?
