The most exciting part of this year’s Around the World Cup is the fact that in the Qualifier Round two three-way matches will determine which armies qualify for the Group Stage. The tension foreshadows the upcoming Qualifiers when the community will witness who will level up to flag-waving status.

Firstly, this Saturday, Special Weapons & Tactics, The Bastille Vanguard, and the Void Troops will face off against each other. The winner will move on to the Group Stage, where they will compete against the Army of Club Penguin, the Doritos of Club Penguin, and the Templars of Club Penguin.

After that, on Sunday, the Fire Vikings, the Penguins of Agartha, and the Valiant Azure Knights will face off against each other. The winner of that battle will go on to face the Aliens, Water Vikings, and Scarlet Republic.

Club Penguin Armies contacted several active community members and asked them to share their predictions on the upcoming Qualifiers battles.

A recent battle between the Void Troops and The Bastille Vanguard

Special Weapons and Tactics will face The Bastille Vanguard and Void Troops in a triple-threat match in one of the most unstable pairings of the Qualifiers. TBV and VT recently met at the range in a heated practice battle that went into overtime. VT had the edge in size, and TBV had the poise and consistency to hang in there despite being outgunned. Markedly, the spotlight is on the two armies. Certainly, both will need to sharpen up their execution. Meanwhile, SWAT has a legacy and name recognition. Recently, they have inducted a new leader, and they have formed a new alliance with the Fire Vikings. Each army is made up of individual styles, as well as the purpose of their motivation. All in all, this fight promises to be very competitive, where momentum, preparation, and execution are critical to their success.

GeoIonut, Help Force: SWAT because ik the good times for this army and im sure they will win
Leah, CPA Reporter: SWAT will also probably defeat the Void Troops and Bastille Vanguard due to SWAT’s experience (Although, they have fallen quite a bit off lately).
Noa, Army of Club Penguin: I’d say TBV wins, I know SWAT has been struggling recently and I’m not certain if they’d be able to pull through this. I’ve seen VT battle and even though they’re pretty good, I think TBV would come out on top in the end.
Aurora, CPA Senior Reporter: Void Troops because they just started and have a lot of hype. TBV and SWAT haven’t seen the same success and SWAT’s been very unstable.
Ryebread, Water Vikings Leader: I see the Void Troops sweeping this battle tbh, the army has grown strong this past week, outmaxxing both TBV and SWAT.
Edu, CPA Administrator: Now, SWAT vs. TBV vs. VT is going to be a more interesting round, since this bracket has the most experienced S/M Armies. Although VT has just arrived, their leadership is experienced so I’m inclined to believe their battle tactics are more refined. SWAT and TBV are also consistent S/M armies, with solid experience in tournaments – and wars (in SWAT’s case). I think VT is likely going to win because of their potential size advantage and leadership expertise
BestPenguin, Aliens Leader: Void Troops will win, they seem to have a bright future and i have seen them engaging in lots of battles. Pretty sure they will win! Goodluck to everyone tho

Fire Vikings vs. Penguins of Agartha vs. Valiant Azure Knights

Fire Vikings during a recent event.

In the second Qualifier Match, the Fire Vikings, Penguins of Agartha, and Valiant Azure Knights will play for the chance to advance to the next stage of this Around the World Cup II tournament. Yellow Typer created the Fire Vikings, who were created in November of 2024. The Fire Vikings have had tons of revivals, several setbacks, many alliance partners, and several dealings, even with the Templars. The Penguins of Agartha is a relatively new force created in late April 2025 by Berlim. The Penguins of Agartha established themselves by having a peak of 12 troops at their first event and defeating Crimson Sovereign at their first war in about 30 minutes. The Valiant Azure Knights will approach this game freshly after just entering the Top Ten in the 13th spot. Their inclusion also adds novelty to the competition.

GeoIonut, Help Force: Hmm my pick will be FV because I know their leader and im sure he will do good work
Leah, CPA Reporter: Fire Vikings in the qualifer round because of PoA’s and VAK’s inexperience
Noa, Army of Club Penguin: Honestly p tough. I’d sayy Fire Vikings? I haven’t seen a lot of any of those armies tbf so I could be wrong. Since all of them are pretty small, this can be a close battle.
Aurora, CPA Senior Reporter: Penguins of Agartha because they max the most and would probably have superior tactics.
Ryebread, Water Vikings Leader: Each of them have a chance of proving themselves in these qualifiers, however i see the Fire Vikings having a slight advantage because of their size & uniform.
Edu, CPA Administrator: Between FV, PoA, and VAK, I believe PoA is more likely to win due to them being a more established S/M Army compared to the others. They’ve been more stable and consistent. I’m curious, however, to see how this battle will unfold tactically speaking
BestPenguin, Aliens Leader: I think POA will win. POA has berlim the legend and im sure he will try his best to win! GO POAAAA!!!!!!!

With the Qualifiers round of Around the World Cup II completed, we can now look forward to some thrilling three-way showdowns, each with its own story and aspirations. From past competitors and complete newbies, all combinations of styles and experience will work together to ensure this is unpredictable and enjoyable. Which armies will be able to take the next step and move on?
