Overview
With both armies participating in the Frost Frenzy tournament hosted by Club Penguin Armies Official, this practice battle seemed like a good opportunity to improve their skills. Unfortunately, the Void Troops had lost their battle on May 3 after failing to show up. Despite this, their battle could help them further improve with the Around the World Cup II Qualifiers being announced and taking place soon. As for the Scarlet Republic, their battle took place on May 11th. This made the practice battle a great way to prepare themselves for the battle.
Room 1 – Underground pool
The room started with a troop of the Republic room sniping. After this, the Void Troops were seen to enter and form a UV formation. The Troops had a size advantage as the sizes were 12 – 8 for them. The L of SR suffered from AFK troops, which caused the Void Troops to stand out. The Republic then moved and formed a V, whereas VT made an impressive anchor. The Republic was seen to struggle more throughout this room. The forms were mainly uncreative, and their activity was behind. Despite their attempt to put up against VT, it ultimately led to their loss.

Room 2 – Docks
Different from the last room, VT looked smaller compared to SR. After both armies had been done with the bombing, VT formed a backwards L, whereas SR made a vertical line that was a better fit for their size. Neither army stood out during the first few minutes, as they seemed worthy of each other. When nearing the middle of the time in this room, both armies began slowing down, using fewer tactics. Both forms had advantages and disadvantages. During the last few minutes, they repeated their forms. The tactics were completed, but they lacked creativity. As the armies looked like they were made for each other, this room was deemed a tie.

Room 3 – Ski Lodge
The Void Troops entered the room first, while SR followed. The Troops started with an L, while the Republic formed a plus. Surprisingly, the sizes were equal with 9 – 9. Once again, SR struggled with troops AFK and out of form. Despite this, SR controlled the room. Both had their qualities and struggles. This resulted in the judges deeming it a tough room. When nearing the end, VT picked up their completion and awareness. In the end, both armies had brief periods of dominance. This concludes the room as a tie.

The overall results of the battle.
Afterwards, the Void Troops won this tough battle, showcasing their strengths. Nevertheless, the Republic still put up a good fight and did not give up easily. Do you think we can expect more from both armies as the tournaments go on? Do you think they are truly worthy opponents?
