With each passing month comes many memorable moments, but deciding which ones deserve to be considered as the “top moments” is no easy task. The Club Penguin Armies staff team hosts a monthly vote to determine the “Top Five Moments” of the month. With March Madness X concluding at the beginning of the month, the rest of April saw armies focus on staking their claims on the map. With this, changes were made in several armies, resulting in 19 moments to choose from this month. Without further ado, let us reveal the top five moments for April.
5. Power Of Friendship! Army of Club Penguin Allies With Water Vikings
Written by: Zenishira
In a practice battle on April 12, the Army of Club Penguin took on the Water Vikings in what would usually be a fiery contest. Despite their troubled past, after the battle, ACP leader Roxy announced a new alliance between the two armies, with both aiming to improve their relationship. The alliance illustrates shifts in both armies, as past rivals have been able to come together. This has followed multiple leadership alterations in these armies, giving an opportunity for change. It remains to be seen what the new allies will accomplish together.
4. Rebel Penguin Federation Crowned Winners Of March Madness X
Written by: Snork
On April 6, the highly anticipated March Madness X came to an end in an exciting final battle. The day before, the Doritos of Club Penguin overcame their rivals, ACP, to earn the third place trophy. This left the Rebel Penguin Federation and the Help Force to fight for first place. The Rebels’ path up to this point was an arduous one, where they faced WV and ACP before making it to the final. The Helpers’ journey, on the other hand, included DCP, Aliens, and the Scarlet Republic as opponents.
The final match proved to be just as competitive, with RPF dominating in size with 80 troops. Though the Help Force showed a skilled performance, it was not enough to surpass the Rebels, who were able to create larger and more creative formations. In the end, after winning every room of the final battle, the Rebel Penguin Federation were crowned the winners of March Madness X.

2. An Unprecedented Week: PIC Announce Closure Amidst A Series of Events
Written by: Hyper
Once considered a staple of the Small/Medium army scene, the People’s Imperial Confederation shocked the community by announcing their closure on April 24. Leading up to this, a chain reaction hit PIC: Scars stepped down, 54x took over as leader following his previous resignation, ACP severed ties, and finally, Creator Sidie9 put the army’s Fourth Generation on hiatus. PIC’s shutdown followed over a year of consistent presence in the community, including participation in major wars, tournaments, and alliances. The abrupt collapse left many stunned, especially given the timing and speed of events. The closure marked the end of an era for an army that had managed to survive multiple generations since its 2019 revival. We will see if the army can make a comeback from their hiatus or whether this closure will be permanent.
