As Mariah Carey would say as she defrosts, it’s timeeeeee! Thank you all for this journey—the next era is upon us.

When I first joined the Administration, I’ll admit—I didn’t really know what I was doing. But I was incredibly grateful that Mchappy trusted me enough to step into the role of Admin for this league. While it may not have always shown on the outside, I often felt anxious internally when dealing with issues. I constantly questioned my decisions because I genuinely wanted to make everyone happy—I care deeply about this community and its well-being.
In the beginning, I was trying to find where I fit in, and figure out what kind of Admin I wanted to be. Every Admin before me had something they were known for, something the community remembered them by. I tried out different “versions” of myself, different styles of leadership, and eventually grew tired of trying to be everything for everyone.
Over time, I realized I can’t be everything, and I can’t please everyone. What I could do, though, was focus on doing everything I could to keep this league afloat—alongside the other Admins. I’m genuinely thankful for the opportunity to serve as an Admin of such a respected league. No matter what challenges came with the role, it’s incredible to think that I’ve been part of a league that’s almost three years old, and I’m proud that I was able to make an impact.
I know I’m not perfect—but I believe imperfections help us grow. Every challenge I faced made me stronger, more confident, and better prepared for whatever comes next.
People often ask me if I feel confident that I’ve done everything I wanted to—and the honest answer is no. But I don’t think that’s a bad thing. I don’t believe any Admin truly feels they’ve accomplished everything they set out to do. That just means we value growth and innovation. We’re always striving to do more, to be more, and to give more to the community.
In the end, it’s not just about this league—or any future league. What matters most is whether you feel confident, comfortable, and happy being part of this space. No Admin is perfect, and not everything will always go the way people hope, but one of the most important parts of being in this role is trying to maintain a balance between everyone’s needs. Even if it didn’t always feel that way, I know that every Admin I’ve worked alongside—past and present—shares a common goal: the health and happiness of this community.
We’ve all tried our best to give back to you the same experiences we were lucky enough to have—whether it was through leading, participating, or just being part of the army community. At the heart of it, it’s about the memories, the friendships, and the feeling of belonging that keeps us all coming back.
I would leave a thank-you list for individuals, but I always worry about accidentally leaving someone out. Just know that if you stood by me throughout this journey—I’m truly grateful for you.
Thank you all so much, and I wish you nothing but the best.
Ta-ta!
